Don't go near these people with a yard stick they are a joke of a company. They don't reward good driving at all like they promise and they are quick to take money from you at any convenience that suits them! They might be the cheapest on comparison sites but after all the extras they charge they might as well be the most expensive! DRIVERS BE AWARE DONT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS FROM THE START.

I wouldn't even give one star but haf to in able to write a review. Have had nothing but trouble with this company. Having to constantly be on the phone. My car was not up to standard affecting driving score I was told to show proof which I did but my premium went up by another £1100. Recieved a load of letters to say policy was going to be cancelled. Which it now will be this week. Everyone I have spoken to have been no help and have given me conflicting information. This is the only insurance company I have been with which has given me so much grief. I will not be recommending to anyone unless they want a life of hassle.

My daughter has been insured with this company for 17 days, and has had nothing but trouble. We have been on the phone to them constantly. Won’t accept proof of no claims, so her insurance has now gone up to over £2000. This company are a joke.

1 star is very generous. After you taking 3 payments out of my account in one day, I ring to see the explanation to be told you’d renewed my insurance without my consent. Taken payment without my consent, signed me to a finance contract WITHOUT my consent. Once asked to speak to a manager, have been called vile names on the phone by your staff. Absolutely apauled. Had my insurance with you for a year with no problems untill I decided to go else where for insurance. I for one will not be paying any more money to this disgusting company. And seeking legal assistance to how they can sign me to a 12month contract without my knowledge. You can be sure I will NOT be paying a cancellation fee on something i did NOT sign up to.

Please be assured that we take our customer service very seriously and would like to take the time to look into this for you. Policies are set to auto-renew and this is a common process across the majority of insurance companies and is advised on the renewal invite sent out prior to renewal. It does also state if you do not wish it to renew to call us before the renewal date so we are able to stop this. Should have a zero star button, absolutely disgusting money grabbing conning company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, EVERYTHING IS A LIE. They need to be investigated!!! And named and shamed Disgusting company. Keep away!!!!

For the duration of the policy I was thretend with my insurance being canceld almost every month for a different reasons every time most common faults with there own flawed and hopeless telematics system after 6 months of this my insurance was canceld without exaplination which I had to wait on hold for 45 miniuts to be told there was nothing that could do and that that had taken a cancalion fee and a months payment. Customer service has been terrible form start to finish. Hopeless waste of time and money

This company from start to finish are set out to scam customers. From putting premium prices up, to falsifying driving scores to make money from customers. I have complained numerous times and never once was give the answer to my question. Please do not fall trapped with this insurance company. Be aware that you have to tell them not to renew otherwise they will automatically try to with the money from your bank account.

I wouldn’t even put a star on this website but this is the only option I had to make this complaint. Theee worst insurance company I’ve ever been with. Don’t save your self an extra couple of quid to go with this company..... it’s shocking

Refused to fit the black box, then charged me for the appointment insisting I hadn’t turned up! On top of that they cancelled my policy and charged me a cancellation fee. I’m now £300 out of pocket. Disgusted and stressed!

Charging a fortune a every single change, while other companies do not charge for that. And makes me suspicious why is Vicky from wise driving only tries to say sorry and asks to send it privately only when some one gives a negative feedback here it does not look genuine. Wise driving are dishonest money grabbing company

WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Didn’t want to give this company 1 star, but had to or I would be able to leave a review. This company are happy to take your deposit, then case you nothing but hell. They have me stressed to death. I have been driving 28 years, but have alway had my or our car insurance in my husbands name because it was cheaper. I recently got another old car for my daughter and I to drive. My daughter is also not a new driver, but has been living abroad for the last year. We went online was 100 honest with everything on our application, we got a price we were happy with, the company then said we had to have a box fitted as it was our first policy, we agreed and paid the deposit. I had no-claims as a named driver and they asked to send proof. This we did, but then 3/4 weeks later said we hadn’t sent it, then told me that they don’t accept name driver no-claims. They said it’s in their T&C. The only place you can find anything about no-claims, is in their FAQ, and it doesn’t state they do not accept named driver no claims. They have now increased my policy by £1000, leaving me no choice but to cancel the policy, after they tried to take £187.60 from my account, when the direct debits we set accounting to the terms of our financial agreement for £86.20. They have already had £386 off me and to cancel as well as the cancellation fee of £75, want me to pay £185 for the box, £68 other charges and other charges for the time of insurance. If we pay this, it will be over 60 % of the agreed insurance amount, we have had the insurance for 67 days! This now Leaving me no choice but to go to the Financial Ombudsman service and request they investigate this company. I can’t tell you the amount of phone calls I have made to this company and their financial company. Through the whole proses, I have been straight, upfront and kept them informed, of when we would receive our no claims in writing, the insurance on my husbands car ( Direct line) also called wise-driving if the no claims, but said it had to be in writing. This was emailed the day I received it. A month later they said they hadn’t revived it, yet we had a financial agreement sent out that same day they received proof of no claims. They are ripping people off and need to be stopped!!

Awful company , my son purchased his insurance as a first time driver after driving his first car twice the head gasket went we struggled to buy him another car and when he called to change over the insurance for the SAME type of vehicle he was charged 800 pound more and told if he didn’t do it he could cancel for 1000 so either way he didn’t have a choice it’s terrible for a 17 year old to have this first time experience and so hard on an apprentice wage I am not prepared to Leave this and will be seeking advice I. It - TERRIBLE COMPANY DONT USE!!!!

Awful - poor customer service, often unable to get through on phone. Policy mysteriously increased by just under £300 right towards the end of the policy (despite driving score remaining around the same all year) and since receiving this email informing over the price hike (£100 a month extra for my last 3 monthly payments) I am unable to access the portal, unable to request a new password and therefore unable to see new policy documents. BEWARE!

I have not bought an insurance yet but the information from WiseDriving is very conflicting. On their website all there reviews are 4/5 stars. People can tell when a review is a persons real experience and when it is a charade. Trust Pilot is probably one of the best reviews site. It is continuously rated 1/5 . Very disappointing. And Vicky, you have been responding to everyone's responses. Just one question. If you can see all the responses and see everything that is of concern and that is a problem, after all the 'private messages' why are the same issues being raised. There has been no solution for too long.

I had to upgrade my car through my dealer because it was on lease and they refused to insure my new car with no reason or explanation given, still have to keep my old policy because I have 3 months left on it and if I cancel they want to charge me stupid amount of money. It doesn't make sense because all I wanted was to change the cars over which they refused to do, now I'm having to pay for 2 insurance providers

Customer service is below expected standards, staff members have a terrible attitude and as a customer i have had a stressful dealing. Emailing is the primary way of communication, however when you are promised a call back for the 7th time, you would expect it.
