The representative that took my call was very patient with me and took the time to explain what everything meant, even if I asked her to repeat or further explain. She was lovely, I was able to complete my transaction with her over the phone. She made things simple for me, great customer service 👍🏾”

“Absolutely horrendous negative experience that's still unresolved. Firstly THEY cancelled my DD then tried to blame me & added a cancellation fee. The chat agent admitted they'd cancelled it but refused to waiver the fee. I spent hours outtung a complaint together incl screenshots from my bank only to be told " emails aren't manned " I then used the complaints form online. No reply so after 5 days I left a review. Only then did someone contact me & after emailing back in the morning I waited 6 hours & no reply. Won't be renewing. Please save yourself the hassle & look elsewhere. Disgraceful Customer Care which is reflected in all the bad reviews they have.”
“This company requires you to log in to add a personalised plate to your car (no other changes) they then charge you nearly £3 for doing this plus a £25 admin fee despite the fact that no administrative staff or costs were incurred as you make all the changes yourself electronically. This is despicable. Every other insurance company I have dealt with have not charged for this. Incidentally I put my personalised number on to another vehicle and they did it yesterday over the phone for no charge!”

When I had a bump in my car they were so unhelpful.

“Absolute 10/10 in terms of getting done over from an insurance company.
Started the policy on Monday but have since bought a new car (Unplanned at the time). They tried to more nearly triple my premium (on a much safer car) so I cancelled and have been stung for just over £100 total in order to cancel it. Even though it's in the 14 day cooling off period (Required by law) they are refusing to refund. Seemed cheap at the time on the comparison websites, however I would only advise people to avoid avoid avoid.”
“I have worked in insurance for 15 years and Geoffrey insurance are easily worst company i have ever dealt with. Taken 5 payments from account in 2 banking days, they have no idea why, they have hung up on me twice trying to contact them, have left me witch charges for failed Direct Debits from other companies because they took money when they shouldnt have. Sent 2 emails with no reply, you then fill the complaint form on there website, when you submit the form it goes to page not found. Avoid this company at all costs, they have no clue what they are doing or how to fix it when they have made a mistake. Out of pocket £60 in charges, plus £120 from them taking payments that where not authorised.”

“Absolutely disgusted Unprofessional
I had an email and text from this company saying that I owe them this months payment for my car insurance plus at £20.00 fee due to the return direct debit. I told them two weeks from today's date to change my banking details which I assumed she did over the phone. Spoken to someone on the live chat box on the website and a lady named Julie was rude beyond words. So I stopped the chat and copied and pasted it for safe keeping and rang them up instead.
this other useless foul mouthed woman the situation and she comes back and tells me that there is nothing mentioned on there system to say that I rang up. So basically I was called a liar twice, Once from Julie in live chat and this woman on the phone. She said that she will speak to her manager and see if they can wave the £20.00 yet to come back and said that her manager will not allow to wave the fee. I said it is not my fault your staff cannot do there job right. She kept on saying we need your monthly payment and the late payment fee or your insurance will be cancelled.
I then continued saying, it was not my fault and all she was doing was over talking without allowing me to speak so I did the same and said, cancel my insurance, then she said, for me to cancel your insurance we need full payment and the 20.00 direct debit which came back and plus they will charge me £60.00 plus to cancel the insurance. First of all she said that if I do not pay the whole lot it will be cancelled, then she says they cant cancel it unless I pay for the monthly instalment and the late payment fee, work that one out. So thick it's unreal.
So I continued to say, cancel my insurance and she kept saying we can't cancel your insurance bla bla bla. She would not let me talk and all she could so was over talking on top of me. This is not how you treat customers and all my years of having car insurance which is 28 years now, I have never came across such disgusting car insurance in my entire driving career. I would stay away and I will also contact trading standards which I have recorded the chat and copied the chat also I had with this so called Julie on there website chat box.”
