“Wow what an experience from start to finish. Hubby and I had our eyes tested with GFL, which is a relatively new service from them. This service was very efficient and since receiving our new glasses very accurate! I have been using a large high street company for eye testing and glasses and have always had problems one way or the other, but since using GFL both of us have always received a first class service. The offices are first class and Tina and her team are experienced, efficient and effective and I must also mention the coffee and cakes were not bad either. I have a difficult prescription but since using GFL have not had any problems I am now able to see and read labels without having to lift up my glasses to see the small print. The only problem is now I can see that my windows need cleaning!! GFL a big thank you from us both, you have a first class business and we are both glad to have seen you develop from a small online business to the company you are now and I am sure you will continue to grow Many thanks Mick and Leo”

“What a fantastic professional service. The whole experience was totally painless. The advise was very professional & I was put at ease & did not feel that extras were being recommended for GFL profit. For the first time since I started with my sight problems 2 1/2 years ago my vision is as good as it can be & I feel my eyes are fully protected against the elements. I did not use the internet/postal service, I live close enough to visit the business. I ordered two pairs of specs, one single vision for driving which were ordered on Wednesday & were ready by Saturday. The second pair were a more complex varifocal with 'Extra Active' Reactalight lenses, but they were ready in the stated time. I have already recommended GFL to friends & family. John Britnell”

“Just received my new glasses, got to say that after wearing glasses for the last 30yrs they are a revelation. Best vision I have ever had since using varifocal lenses, reading and distance comes so naturally with these, quality is exceptional. Must thank all the staff for there excellent service and professionalism. Superb!”

“Thank you for a fantastic professional and friendly service. Your Christian Lacroix frames were so funky and different, and were exactly what I was looking for! Great value for money, and so I decided on a 2nd pair that are also very me! Special thanks to your 'Mrs C' for her lovely short bread biscuit, a very nice treat. I have never had biscuits and coffee before whilst purchasing my glasses - what a wonderful treat. I will definitely recommend you and will be back when I want more glasses.”

“Glasses Frames and Lenses Ltd are a brilliant company. They're the only online glasses and re-glazing service I would ever use. I posted my frames late Tues morning, received a 'received' email early Weds morning, a 'dispatched' email Weds afternoon, and the glasses arrived Thurs morning! Where else can you get service like that! Plus their work is always to a very high standard. NB: I'm a repeat customer.”

“MY first order with Glassesframesandlenses was in November 2011. I was rather apprehensive about ordering varifocals on line. However, after talking with Tina at GF&L she quickly gave me the confidence to order. I am so glad I did, the glasses arrived and were perfect and £300 cheaper than a colleague of mine who had EXACTLY the same glasses and lens only the prescription being different ! I am now going back for my next pair and I have received excellent service and co-operation from Tina once again and Amanda. They are extremely efficient and make you feel like a valued customer and an old friend. Can't wait to get my new glasses. “I obtained a quote for my new prescription from the opticians where I had my sight test. It was eyewateringly expensive. I had previously called in at your premises to view the selection of frames you had and to get a quote for lenses. The quote was for a much more reasonable price, so I made an appointment to come to choose a frame. I was just a little disappointed with the choice of frames you had, but you explained that you were about to restock I did find frames I was happy with. The bill for my glasses and two pairs for my husband as well was only a little dearer than the optician in town wanted just for my glasses. When they were ready, you fitted them quickly and efficiently. For the first time ever I have not had to return for adjustments. In addition, I am extremely pleased with the 'stay clean' coating which cost only an extra £10. Previously I cleaned my glasses at least once a day. Now I go days without feeling the need to clean them. All in all I can and have recommended you unreservedly to others.”

I am pleased you are seeing the benefits of the super hydrophobic coating; I have it on all my glasses and it really is well worth the money. “Service from all members of staff was excellent, their main concern being that you would be completely satisfied with the end result. I bought distance glasses for driving and golf, reading glasses for close up work and a pair of varifocus glasses for everyday use. I initially had problems with the varifocus glasses which were immediately replaced to my satisfaction. I will certainly reuse their services when I come to replace my current prescription.”
