“Website did not allow me to complete process. Would not accept e mail or password at end. Quotes came up much cheaper than previous insurer but with no ref no. Eventually gave up and returned to previous insurer. Waste of time.”

“Cant do a quote on site as I put in one of my jobs as a cleaner it would not accept office cleaner nor was a option,no ref number from sheila deals as they offered a better deal but cant take up,also my other job is a mda but you dont have this option either,so feel a complete waste of time to be honest..”

“Good prices in this rip off world of car insurances ! But no one wants my business ? I hate filling tedious forms , after doing so I got a affordable quote ! They quickly phoned me ! I did not have all my bank details asked for a call back ! Two days later after calling them twice put on hold then cut off ! I decided if you cannot get to talk to some one buying the insurance , then you be buggered if an accident ! went to the old meerkats ! Guess what Same bloody company ?”

“Rubbish used go compare for years put my details in filled out the online form three times and it kept coming back we cannot quote you with the information given .went to quote me happy instead saved £80”

“They refused to insure me with no reason given. I’ve been driving for 63 yrs and not made a claim in last 20 yrs. I have a clean driving licence so my only problems must either be my post code or my age. But I don’t know cos they not saying!”

“I requested a quote for my household insurance and was directed to Be Wise which I subsequently discovered was a broker and not an insurance company. They quoted me the most competitive price and when I tried to buy the policy, I was told I would have to call them. I was promised a return call which never happened and when I chased them up, I was quoted 3 times the originally quoted amount. This is outrageous and should be illegal.”

“Go compare put me in touch with Acorn Insurance. What a terrible company they are. They claim I hadn’t declared my status correctly but having checked my inputs on your website again that is not true and they are making false allegations. Go compare great. Accorn Insurance avoid. I wonder what their payout record is?? I suspect they’ll find any excuse not to pay out.”

“All the quotes I was offered on Go compare for my home insurance were invalid as every quote I clicked on I had to phone another company to go through my policy again. Every new price I was quoted with this new company was double in amount. A waste of time. I did my own research in the end and got a better price. This service on Go Compare lacks transparency and is misleading.”

“My cheapest quote was£220 from the AA. When I get to the payment it has doubled to£440 along with the compulsory excess from£100 to£200. ???”
