Driver was ok but left our bags at the curb instead of bringing them into the hotel-it was raining

The driver on the way to the ski-resort obviously knew the route very well and was thus able to help us avoid traffic jams. However, his driving was erratic and at times dangerous, for instance, overtaking when it was not safe to do so. He appeared to be in a big rush, possibly becasue our flight had been delayed. The driver on the way back was far more relaxed, which made for a more pleasant trip.

Our trip to Val d' Isère was good, nice, safe driver. Our trip from Val on 1 Feb was not as good. We had trouble communicating with the driver. He does not speak English and we don't speak French but he is also deaf? My daughter was sick and we had trouble asking him to pull over. Same for the toilet. The journey was in thick traffic and took 5 hours. He seemed to have no plan to take us to a toilet. We were shouting at hime through the barrier to take us to a toilet. Also, we spent about two hours on very windy mountain roads as he took us over a mountain to avoid the traffic (it didnt help). Because some of the seats were facing backwards, this was an extremely uncomfortable journey. We very nearly missed our flight. The car should have come at 8am or even 7.30am for the 2.40pm flight.

On February 1st, a significant natural event occurred—a rockfall near exit 39 just before Moutiers (https://euroweeklynews.com/2025/02/02/massive-rockfall-blocks-rn90-and-leaves-hundreds-stranded/). This incident led to a complete closure of the road both into and out of the valley for about an hour, followed by restricted traffic through a tunnel with only one lane open in each direction. Given these circumstances, our driver made a prompt decision to take an alternative mountain route to ensure you reached the airport on time. Had he not done so, it’s likely you would have missed your flight, as unfortunately happened to many travelers departing after 10 AM. Regarding the communication difficulties, we understand how challenging it must have been, especially with your daughter feeling unwell. In such scenarios, we encourage passengers to contact our operators via email, WhatsApp, or phone. Our team is always ready to assist and facilitate communication between drivers and passengers. Concerning the departure time, Ideally, we would recommend departures between 5:30 and 6:30 AM to ensure timely arrival at the airport. However, we understand that without prior knowledge of potential delays, many passengers prefer later departure times. We deeply regret the discomfort you endured during the return journey. While natural events are beyond our control, we are committed to improving our services and communication to better assist our passengers in such situations.
