Mit ihrer Stiftung GOT BAG Indonesia, der Hilfe von 19 aktiven Communities sowie dem Clean-up-Programm vor Ort konnte das Mainzer Start-up bisher mehr als 1.000.000 kg Ocean Impact Plastic sammeln, welches sich in küstennahen Gebieten, Mangrovenwäldern, Flüssen oder dem Meer befand. Zusammen mit nationalen und internationalen Partner:innen und Meeresschutzorganisationen setzt sich GOT BAG darüber hinaus für den Schutz und Erhalt der Meere ein.

“I purchased this for several reasons: 1. I needed a backpack that was essentially waterproof and wanted a roll-top, 2. My family is working very hard to reduce our plastic use and we try to find products that are using recycled materials, 3. I have always been impressed with Dutch design, having spent a lot of time in the Netherlands, 4. Most importantly, the way I see it, improving the health of our Oceans is one of the most important things in the world. The Sea Shepherd cobranding was an additional draw. I am happy to say that this purchase ticked ALL of those boxes. It is worth noting that I did not even realize how great the removable laptop sleeve is -it is very well designed, allowing you to use the pack for daily work/commute/travel, or activities like shopping where you just want the entire cargo area available. I will be getting one of these for my wife as well.”

“Love this bag. Its light and easy to wear, holds everything I needed and love how easy it is to pack my laptop, not crazy little pockets. The roll down top is great since it opens up wide and I can see everything in there. One recommendation... Where do I put my water bottle? The side straps could work, but there is nothing to keep it from sliding out from the bottom. I would like those straps to have buckles so I could snap it through the handle of my water bottle or add something under the last strap to hold the bottle from falling. Love Love Love my new bag.”
