I am still awaiting a refund of circa £233.00. My order has been a mess from start to date. Firstly they said they had a problem with my address. I have been a customer for around 18 years. Then they asked me to re order. After 2 weeks I still had not received my order. When it did eventually arrive I was sent wrong colour petticoat, 2 dresses exactly the same when I had only ordered one and one poor quality dress. I returned the petticoat, the poor quality dress and the one I never ordered. I am still awaiting my refund. I an ded up with the excuses I keep being given by their Customer Non Service Dept !!!

I ordered a sweater I was in love with. When the legging showed up and not the sweater I could find my order anywhere to check. Finally found the confirmation and was able to link through t It and saw the Oder was due to ship 12/3. Ok, missed Thanksgiving. But whe I heard nothing ever from them, I contacted customer service who sent the attached. No apologies, no communication, so frustrating. Now I have to find something else and return all the accessories.

I returned two rather poor quality, scratchy, skimpy lambs wool jumpers on the 10th of October 2025. They confirmed they had received my return on 31st of October. As of today, 4/12/25 I have still not had my refund! I have been emailing them weekly and nobody has yet been able to tell me when I will receive £100+ refund. Customer care is non-existant, the quality of the clothing is poor. I will never shop here again!

Bought cardigan and washed it according to label instructions. It has now become shapeless and creased. It certainly wasn't cheap. If supermarkets can produce garments which wash and wear why can't gudrun S. Returns and complaints seem to be impossible to achieve. This level of performance may be acceptable in Scandinavia, it certainly isn't here. This company should be banned from operating here. It's just a rip-off

I have bought for many years and have been stunned at the loss of quality in the materials used the past few years. The last piece, a slip/skirt is mind boggling flimsy and wrinkles horribly. A blouse, previous purchase, had a hole in it. Maybe it would behoove this co. to cut back advertising and do better work workmanship and materials and prices are waaay to high for what you get.

I would give NEGATIVE STARS if possible. I received a dress and sweater yesterday and immediately returned those items to the UPS store. What a disappointment !The dress and sweater were both cheaply made with cheap materials, and looked nothing like the beautiful photos in the beautiful catalog. The items arrived crumpled in a paper bag and looked like they were previous returns. I paid $328.03 for items that looked like they were worth $35.00 to $50.00. Owners are really taking advantage of the consumer. I warn anyone thinking to buy from this outfit to STAY AWAY.

I ordered 4 items on December 4th 2024 and have still not received them. Reading some of the reviews on here, I realise I've probably been scammed. It's very disturbing to hear that the bonafide company knows of this... It's there no protection for customers? I'll be taking this up with my credit card company and now know to avoid GS, beautiful though the clothes appear.

I have been scammed by a cloned website. As others have said, it appeared genuine and I even received tracking details for two weeks until everything went dead. I have now contacted the "reaL" company for confirmation of the scam so I can start the bank process to reclaim my money. No matter how cautious we think we are being I have learnt the hard way to check, check online, and then go out shopping on the high street! And if GJ did know weeks ago about these scams, shame on them. One more customer who will never return.

Looks like I've been scammed too! I'm obviously not the only one either as I see another person here also ripped off 😡 looked like a genuine company, even had the padlock symbol, placed a large order for Christmas and now got no gifts and no money! Someone in United Arab Emirates. Can't believe it looked so genuine

I was duped by an instagram scam purporting to be this company. AFTER I was scammed I discover Gudrun knew there are companies on IG doing this. They posted a warning message 6 weeks ago. I dont follow them so I wouldn’t have known. WHY ARE THEY NOT SCANNING FOR FAKE ACCOUNTS AND TAKING THEM DOWN? I’m really hot in scams and this has never happened to me before. It was a very convincing one. It wouldn’t have happened if their social network company felt their customers should be protected. Very disappointed.

I ordered a complete outfit for a special occasion. I was not told that one item was back ordered until the rest of the outfit arrived without it. It was no use to me without the item because I chose it for an event in which I was performing on stage and it would not arrive in time. So very deceitful. The clothes are nice looking and comfortable but not great quality and very overpriced. And the greenwashing...l

paid £69 for a knitwear item, seriously flawed, they will have had my money for about a month before i am refunded and I have no item. Paid for two tops 24 september, no tops receive and no information. I will not be out of pocket again. Poor service, poor delivery, poor items sadly

I have ordered clothing from them a few times and generally like their colorful patterns, generous fit, and easy returns. However, I ordered a linen pointelle sweater a couple of months ago and really liked it. But after two months of occasional wearing (and washing twice per the label) large several holes appeared under the arms. The quality is terrible if a piece doesn’t last longer than this. I contacted customer service and asked for a refund but I keep getting delays in a response that they need to check how to proceed. The last email was two weeks ago with no further response. I will never order clothing from this company again sadly. Their prices are too expensive to risk getting something of low quality again.

Received order, box was open and stuff thrown in. Convoluted website w/no return info. Took a bit of time to find how to return. No email informing me of shipment. Tracking number non-existent. Never again.

I received a Christmas present - a sweater - that is at least two sizes too big. I sent the information to their customer service department. They responded that since it was purchased in October, they will not exchange it. Are you kidding me? I'm not asking for a refund for my gift giver, I'm asking for an exchange! BAD customer service.

Non existent 'customer service', ridiculous sizing and quality just can't justify the price. First time ordering from them but definitely the last. Ordered 2 tops received only 1. Complained to customer service but received no reply. Messaged again. Still no reply. Opened a paypal dispute but they didn't even bother to respond to paypal. Eventually paypal refunded me for the missing top. Ideally, i wanted to return the other top (sized as small but like a huge tent on me) but decided to just alter it instead - too much effort to struggle with them any more. Avoid!

I have ordered lots of shirts in the last 6 years but recently extremely disappointed about the fabrics and the way they hand. For instance the Nypon Tunic 32408 hangs like a rag and is very matronly looking. On the skinny model it looks okay but in person it is huge and hangs limply. I ordered a medium which I usually wear but I should have ordered a Small and even that would have been huge. I ended up taking in 6 whole inches in the waist and it still does not look great but I will wear it to the beach. A pretty expensive piece of beach coverup. A year ago I purchased a top that had a very weird gold color. I could not return it because they don't guarantee that the colors will match the computer. I could not exchange because the dollar amount was not perfectly matched so I took a gift card for the amount. I used that gift card for this most recent tunic. I knew I could not return it because I bought it on a early bird sale. The company has lost its groove for sure. Will likely never order from them again.

For about 10 years I have enjoyed Gudruns clothing: Serviceable, practical. quirky and fun to wear. For the last 2 years that enjoyment has been doused by the pandemic and and the loss of suppliers and workers. I suspect that Gudruns derogatory racially charged comments led to her stepping down from the company which led to the loss of her creative spirit. Currently GJ catalogues which I would delight in, picture ordinary, unimaginative styles lacking charm and detail. I have no interest in ordering them. It had been a good run.

Beautiful fashion but bad quality. 3 months ago I ordered a pair of woolen socks (34 euro!) that are already worn through. How does the production of clothing that lasts only last a few months and has to be thrown away fit in their "green soul" biological philosophy?

I've been a so-called "VIP customer" since discovering this company in a magazine advertisement in 2015. Beautiful catalogs and fun clothing. Over the past almost 9 years now, the Customer Service has been less than stellar and prices have gone up while the quality of the clothing has gone down. I am sad to say that rude and inadequate Customer Service is the main issue and the killer of my love for Gudrun Sjöden in addition to never receiving catalogs with the exception of 2 (!) in the past year of 2022 despite large orders and requests for said never received catalogs and being ignored by their customer service in Sweden and the instagram account based out of the Soho NY office. Much neglect and rudeness on their part as well with no attempts for goodwill with a loyal, "VIP customer" who received the full amount of bonus points each year and received a free $100 value purchase each time including this year. Hence, I decided to stop ordering in feeling not valued for my loyalty and amount of purchases each year... but did receive bonus points and placed an order last month in order to fulfill the $100 bonus item. My order, from what is apparently a new warehouse in the US, in Minnesota, screwed up my order. Once again, more rudeness from Customer Service and a refusal to send me a $10 wall calendar as a good will effort and apology for all of the customer service failure of the past year. Like other customers have stated, the new items, I notice, are tissue paper thin and even more see through than ever. I had even spent an additional $50 for the order I had placed, in going over the $100 bonus amount, against my better judgement. There was also some kind of snafu with the namesake of the company, Gudrun, over some kind of woke politics issue which personally I could care less about. Sweden has been overtaken by criminal migrants so I'm just glad that I no longer live there and apparently Gudrun has left the company in her formerly official capacity and moved to NY? Anyway, the company that remains is not one that I care to any longer do business with. I might buy some accessories if hopefully the quality of their socks and tights has not declined as much as the other apparel and especially, the customer service has. Customer service at GS has made me angry and regretful for doing business with them for the last time, as of today. It's a bloody shame, particularly when their instagram account does not respond to DMs concerning customer service issues after the Sweden office ignores or is rude to you, and now that the brand actually has a full service warehouse in Minnesota.
