Looks like I've been scammed too! I'm obviously not the only one either as I see another person here also ripped off 😡 looked like a genuine company, even had the padlock symbol, placed a large order for Christmas and now got no gifts and no money! Someone in United Arab Emirates. Can't believe it looked so genuine

I was duped by an instagram scam purporting to be this company. AFTER I was scammed I discover Gudrun knew there are companies on IG doing this. They posted a warning message 6 weeks ago. I dont follow them so I wouldn’t have known. WHY ARE THEY NOT SCANNING FOR FAKE ACCOUNTS AND TAKING THEM DOWN? I’m really hot in scams and this has never happened to me before. It was a very convincing one. It wouldn’t have happened if their social network company felt their customers should be protected. Very disappointed.

I ordered a complete outfit for a special occasion. I was not told that one item was back ordered until the rest of the outfit arrived without it. It was no use to me without the item because I chose it for an event in which I was performing on stage and it would not arrive in time. So very deceitful. The clothes are nice looking and comfortable but not great quality and very overpriced. And the greenwashing...l

They won’t deliver to a P.O. Box, though every other place I order from online will. I find UPS service to be sketchy at best, and have never had a problem with USPS. With porch pirates still at it, and delivery dates from UPS being so unreliable, I don’t order from businesses that won’t accept a P.O Box delivery address. GS has delivered to my P.O. Box in the (distant) past, so evidently this is a fairly recent policy (?). I’ve also noticed a decline in quality, as other reviewers have noted, as well as the sizing issues. I learned to order one size down from my usual size (when I was still ordering from them). One item I returned was not properly credited and I had to call customer service to get the correct amount credited. No explanation other than they “didn’t know how that happened.” Still fun to look at their catalogs, but I won’t be ordering, alas.

paid £69 for a knitwear item, seriously flawed, they will have had my money for about a month before i am refunded and I have no item. Paid for two tops 24 september, no tops receive and no information. I will not be out of pocket again. Poor service, poor delivery, poor items sadly

been a customer for many years but satisfaction is going downhill. I recently purchased 3 expensive items. Design faults appeared immediately but I could not face the return procedure. Heartened to find all three in the recent reduced brochure if not a little annoyed. I wonder why they were reduced!!

Hi, I love the prints and ensembles so ordered a skirt and shirt. BUT very disappointed the skirt is VERY skimpy - cotton skirt almost see thru in the outdoors. So sad. At the price I would expect better material and more used in the design. Tights great - so far.

I have ordered clothing from them a few times and generally like their colorful patterns, generous fit, and easy returns. However, I ordered a linen pointelle sweater a couple of months ago and really liked it. But after two months of occasional wearing (and washing twice per the label) large several holes appeared under the arms. The quality is terrible if a piece doesn’t last longer than this. I contacted customer service and asked for a refund but I keep getting delays in a response that they need to check how to proceed. The last email was two weeks ago with no further response. I will never order clothing from this company again sadly. Their prices are too expensive to risk getting something of low quality again.

I bought two pairs of 'leggings' in beautiful colours. When they arrived I realised that they weren't leggings at all, but footless tights! I don't know if this is a 'lost in translation' thing, but I was a bit disappointed. Maybe the price point should have given it away, but still... The colours are lovely and I'm sure I'll find a use for them, but the hunt goes on for some lovely leggings.

Love the colors and style. Unfortunately cheaply made. First time wearing a button down tunic, the buttons crumbled between my fingers. Lively colors , but very see through. Will I try again? Maybe.

High points of this brand: Natural fabrics with beautiful colors and lively prints. I always drool when I see them on line, but then I sigh. Why? The style is always the same: shapeless clothes with a collarless neck hole that's too large. I would say it takes 3 layers to end up with something looking decent, so it costs quite a bit for an outfit. If you are small, forget it, it will drown you. I have considered buying some for the fabric and cutting them again in a more modern way, but it would be too much work. So, I buy a scarf once in a while in order to enjoy the fabrics and patterns, and I forget the rest. Still, I love the fabrics, and I wish Gudrun would come up with new ideas for the style of the clothes.

Received order, box was open and stuff thrown in. Convoluted website w/no return info. Took a bit of time to find how to return. No email informing me of shipment. Tracking number non-existent. Never again.

I am a very satisfied customer. I have purchased cotton, linen and knit wear items from fall and winter 2023 line and have been very satisfied. I enjoy layering for color and appreciate the lighter layers in my southern climate. Knitwear has been delightful to own and wear. I enjoy all of the compliments I receive. I have not had any issues with customer service . Perhaps positive changes have been made in the last year in this company. I look forward to the spring catalogs. I have gifted items from this line and received positive feedback from recipient regarding fit, quality of workmanship and design.

I received a Christmas present - a sweater - that is at least two sizes too big. I sent the information to their customer service department. They responded that since it was purchased in October, they will not exchange it. Are you kidding me? I'm not asking for a refund for my gift giver, I'm asking for an exchange! BAD customer service.

I am a recent convert to this brand. So far, no problems ordering. Orders arrive quickly. I am 65 yrs old, retired, and enjoy the carefree look of this clothing.

Very. Happy with pants and wool sweaters less happy with tops. I like the array of colors. Pants fit well,launder and hold up well. The tops are ridiculously loosely-gooses, no shape at all. So, I will only order pants and occasionally a wool sweater. Socks are good, as well.

I retired from teaching in 2019 and was hoping to spend time sewing items for myself. I searched for patterns in a "boho" or "langenlook" style. Gudrun Sjoden kept popping up in my searches. Sewing is expensive and time consuming. Also the quality of fabric is not always up to my standards. In 2020 I gave GS a try, and I am very pleased with the styles and quality. I am pleased that I can choose pieces not made in China (which is increasingly difficult to do). I shop the sales whenever I can, and returns are easy. I enjoy following the GS community on Instagram because it helps me to gauge how pieces might look on me after seeing them on other customers. Also I get some ideas on accessorizing. I've had a great time wearing clothing that is not like everyone else's. I'm 5'1, approaching my mid 60's, and usually wear size small. Clothing is comfortable and washes well. I hang my clothing to dry.

Not Impressed with Towels. Quality not there. So much debris after first wash with much lint...so...washed again. These towels are a lint trap. Piling badly and the weave doesn't appear to hold up so I'm not expecting good wear. Too Bad...the style is there but that's about it. My first and last purchase from this company.

Non existent 'customer service', ridiculous sizing and quality just can't justify the price. First time ordering from them but definitely the last. Ordered 2 tops received only 1. Complained to customer service but received no reply. Messaged again. Still no reply. Opened a paypal dispute but they didn't even bother to respond to paypal. Eventually paypal refunded me for the missing top. Ideally, i wanted to return the other top (sized as small but like a huge tent on me) but decided to just alter it instead - too much effort to struggle with them any more. Avoid!
