Just came back from double standard and immoral as well as unethical HARRODS treatment. We drove to Harrods Brompton in our Toyota Yaris rented car. We reversed and moved forward a few times, yet they won't lift the barrier to let us in. Till my husband walked to the security post. The security post is directly facing the barrier about 6m away, so it's ridiculous if they said they cant see us. There were 3-4 people in the security post. And one English SECURITY GUARD standing outside the post. He then told my husband they will raise the barrier to let us in. That was like after 10mins waiting outside and reversing a few times to let some cars pass thru. When they finally lift the barrier for us, We drove slowly past them at the security post, not sure if we were to stop but they just looked at us. We drove in to the basement carpark, and one of them told us to drive back up to the security post. We waited about 6minutes and they did not come to us. My hubby then walked to them and ask but they just kept quiet. He approached them again about 3 times. I went out and asked them what was the problem explaining to him that we had waited but nobody came to us for the valet parking. he then cut me off and said 'so do you want to park or not?' i said 'so is this HARRODS TREATMENT?' He replied, 'ok not parking.' And walked away. What arrogance from the SECURITY TEAM! It just shows how poorly managed were the HARRODS staff with -0 customer service!

I just never got my delivery, and they ignored all my messages, so i had to open the Dispute with my Bank

Harrods is lovely. It couldn't be better. But, don't ever approach their Apple shop on the fifth floor. There is a proper Apple store a few hundred yards away and is far better than the one in Harrods. I bought a laptop. I could not return it to them after less than 2 days. I asked the big new Apple store nearby and they said that if I had bought the laptop from them, I could have returned it within 14 days. I strongly advise everyone not to consider buying from the Apple shop on the fifth floor of Harrods. The shop is a disgrace to Harrods.

Bought items online and I have been ringing to request for a return label ...all to no avail. All I hear from the customer service is we are waiting for the logistics team. Having spent such amount on items hoping to get good quality service, only to get poor services. Never will I buy online from harrods.

Beautiful warehouse , but crazy prices , and some departments more staff then costumers, they only talk to each other during our hour walk only one staff member smiled , why are they there ?

It is no longer the place it used to be. The quality of visitors and staff has declined dramatically. Whilst Primark and pound shop type visitors will be impressed, you'll be dis-appointed if you're looking for a luxury retail experience.

I'm shocked at how I've been treated by Harrods but not as shocked as I was just now reading that this happens regularly. I paid £236 for some perfume I had been debating whether to buy for 6 months. Three weeks ago they took my money. They used DPD to get the parcel to me the next day but the quite frankly pathetic box had been broken into and the bottle gone. The box, sleeve and cellophane were there. No bottle. I have rung/emailed Harrods almost daily. They are just fobbing me off.

Awful customer service and experience from Harrods and Cartier. Ordered a ring from Cartier Harrods and it arrived loose In it’s box tried it on and it wouldn’t go over my knuckle. Put it back in box and reordered the next size up. I posted the ring back the next morning and after three weeks waited for a refund. Harrods then informed me that I would not be getting a refund as the ring was scratched. Anyone who has owned high ct polished gold knows as soon as you touch it it will have tiny surface scratches. If this is the case then you shouldn’t except reruns and state this clearly. I now have a ring that is useless can’t resize and Harrods are refusing to do anything. If this is how you treat people because you are a big company and you can get away with it then it is disgusting. A simple polish will remove any tiny marks but no one is willing to help or do anything to resolve this. Thank you Harrods and Cartier for looking after your customers in this way.

Appalling customer service! I’ve sent them several emails about my rewards and all they keep saying there is a technical fault and that they would call me back. Guess what? No calls back! Shame on you Harrods!

My order was cancelled due to Harrod's choice of shipping company and the company's alleged requirement of needing social security number for customs. It took customer service almost an entire week to notify me of the "requirement" and refused request to communicate with a supervisor. I also sent a request for the contact information to department/persons in charge of international shipping to inform them of my concern and inquire about why the information is not displayed on website in section regarding international shipping and never received a reply. Customer service is poor and definitely not what one would expect from a store that advertises its self how this one does. All in all, I ended up ordering directly from the designer's boutique which was very pleasant. Yesterday Harrod's sent me and request to review the purchase and I wrote the above plus an extra sentence about why the item is a good purchase despite having to obtain it elsewhere. I received the following reply from Harrod's "Thanks for leaving a review – unfortunately, it didn’t meet all our website guidelines. We hope to publish your thoughts next time!"- Confirms the poor customer service and lack of transparency.

I received different item, on $1000 chipper than I ordered. I'm shocked! How it can be possible??? This is international delivery. I can't imagine how to create a return and get my $2000 back!

Order # YLTGEQ I ordered a bottle of Rojas Enigma and when it arrived I opened the fragrance box and inside was a bundle of metal bolts wrapped in tape. There was no bottle of parfum. Someone had stolen it and replaced it with weighted hardware bolts. I contacted customer support and sent photos of everything. I haven't heard back. $375 wasted. How can this be legal? Please send me what I paid for.

Good afternoon another customer duke by this company. I ordered three bottles of perfume I was sent the wrong one I re-ordered the correct one and attempted to return the wrong one. I never open the box is still in plastic they asked me to take a picture but you keep upload a picture to their email. No live customer service representative to talk to the chat agents are useless and clueless. I spent over $2000 with this company and I felt like I was treated like a peasant. I advise anyone who’s even pondering ordering something from this company to steer clear away.

My husband bought a bottle of champagne dom perriogn 2012 for my birthday on the 28th online shop shows a box When arrived it was just in a cardboard box I phoned Customer service yesterday started at 2 50 pm Took twenty minutes before answered started to explain Then hung up this happened three times finally actually spoke To someone at nearly four o clock and finally told it comes from a warehouse so no box couldn’t say if they had one special bottles of champagne I keep bottles and box cork this is a special birthday so am upse About the whole experience . The only good thing delivery was Quick so no vintage champagne 🙁

Terrible Website and No Customer Service--ZERO STAR I placed this order on 7th Jan 2021, bough 7 Items and total amount is 869.86 pounds. On 9th Jan 2021 I received a parcel sized 44cm*33.5cm*20cm. Once I opened my parcel, I could not see my robot cleaner inside the parcel, then I checked the Robot cleaner box size online, it shows 43cm*36cm*36cm As normal thinking I thought it will come another separate box, because the robot box size cannot fit in the parcel which I received. Although that was a Saturday when I received parcel, I had to be patient to wait another parcel until Tuesday 12th Jan. 2021. On 12th Jan. 2021 I made the first phone call with Harrods customer service to check my missing order out. I informed the customer service that I ordered the Robot and paid the money but the robot was not in the parcel which I received, even I provided the detail of box size which I received all my items to customer service, then customer service said to me that I should receive everything in one order in one box and she said she will check for me and advise back asap. According to Harrods service rules I supposed receive an answer/feed email with ref. No. during 48 hours, but Harrods broke their promise, I hadn’t received anything from Harrods. On 13th Jan. I chased an email to asked what happened then I received an auto replied email said would answer in 48 hours with ref. 2408459. On 16th Jan. I called customer service and chased again due to Harrods did not responds back to me which was already over 48 hours From 17th to 2nd Feb, almost called every single day to chase this unreceived robot cleaner status, until 2nd Feb. received an email from Harrods which already 3 weeks passed, said to me that they checked CCTV, and the Robot cleaner packed inside the box. I called customer service straight way to check and in the same time I requested the evidence of the CCTV in packing section as customer service stated they put in the same box with all my 7 products I paid. (Box size I received 44cm*33.5cm*20cm) and Customer service said that they will send request to manager then will advise me back. On 4th Feb. I called again, I had been told my case has been closed, I asked why it has been closed without any notification and answer? But no one could answer my question, during this much long time the only one answer I received is Harrods will not refund my money, but why?  First: the worst customer service Harrods provided From 12th Jan. first call logged to 2nd Feb. closed my case. The whole process of Harrods customer service was extremely rubbish, Harrods customer service didn’t help at all, promise 48 hours contact which never did; one-sided words said robot cleaner packed in the parcel, when I said I need to check CCTV, I had been told case was closed; as a customer we should feel enjoy with the products what we chosen, but just the opposite way, your works and customer service bring us more and more trouble and painful, now I can say chosen your company—Harrods was the biggest mistake we made.  Second: where is my robot cleaner? I paid my money and you didn’t send product!!! I received parcel size 44cm*33.5cm*20cm and robot size 43cm*36cm*36cm, if you are tiny bit sensible with your eyes checked, not hard to say the robot size cannot fit in the parcel which you sent including all my 7 products in one box, can you answer me how did you pack 43cm*36cm*36cm in 44cm*33.5cm*20cm, how???including all 7 products??? Sense check for you customer service department, how could you fit all my 7 items together with Robot in this tiny parcel box, please go back you dispatch department put all my 7 products in with Robot give me justification that you put everything in that one box with the evidence of the CCTV, as my knowledge I strong believe you cannot fit in everything in that size box, I need proof from you. I just want my refund now. Be aware and do not shop there, they really need to improve!

Harrods ruined my nesting experience and made my pregnancy extremely stressful! I am an expecting mother and made my first baby purchase in Harrods, thinking it will make my nesting experience special. It was a snuzpod cot. There was just one model of this bed in store and I was re-assured it would be the exact same colour (I didn't like any other colour option, so I triple checked). We decided to get it delivered to our place and didn't open straight away, as we were in a process of moving houses. Since it was bought from Harrods, I trusted them. After opening the box I found out it was a wrong colour, and Customer service was just absolutely useless. Replying every 5-8 days, not really providing any update. The complaint process took ages and they just replied that it was all matching the description and they won't do anything about it. I'm due next week and have no bed for my baby! I don't like the one they delivered and it's still in the box. It made my pregnancy sooo stressful, and ruined my nesting experience. I picked other nursery items to match the bed I never received. It's just scandalous. I will never trust this company again. I'm very disappointed in both Nursery Furniture dept employee Karla, who sold us wrong item, and Customer Service Advisor Lucy. It's just something I will never forget. It's my first baby and wanted everything to be perfect, yet the worst experience I had with Harrods! I wish I have bought that bed off marketplace, could have received a better customer service from a random seller. I also must mention that their faulty goods return policy is against The Consumer Rights Act 2015. Totally unacceptable.
