“I preodered 2 rocket carriages on 1July the day Hornby announced them. Only to be told a couple of weeks ago that I would be getting nothing. I appreciate that hornby reduced the numbers what I mind is that Hattons could have reduced the number that people got instead of just cancelling orders. I cannot believe that many people had ordered them before I did.”

“I’ve dealt with Hattons and been pleased with service and prompt deliveries .I purchased a hornby loco and had it chipped which arrived quickly .Due to personal circumstances I did not try to use this loco for about 15 months and it did not run . At first hattons said the dcc chip was not compatible with my controller My controller is hornby ,the loco is hornby and hattons fitted the chip .They then said it was out of warranty and nothing they could do. Although it is out of warranty but never been used I think they could have repaired it or gave a discount off a replacement”

“My latest order for a 50th anniversary A3 `Flying Scotsman`was received via DHL yesterday, with a delivery time to Australia of under three days. Brilliant. I was very happy with the quality of the model and its presentation in a special commemorative box. Apart from an expected long lead time since ordering, I have been more than happy with all aspects of my association with Hattons and look forward to other orders in the future”

“parcel arrived ok but very unhappy the way parcel was packaged a small model in a large box waste of cardboard this could have easily gone into a padded envelope”

“used Hattons for quite a while-prompt efficient service-no qualms about recommending until the last 2 orders, posting times have been pushed out,seems that if u choose a postage that is not courier based,you are at the back of the Que-3 days to get anything in the post these days is archaic-with standard postage these guys used to hit 3 days ordering to arrival,with no exceptions,couldn't fault them -now I've ordered ,Sunday(i know they re closed) and the items aren't posted till Wednesday"really"”
