“Early days, happy so far. Hike-it XS performs as advertised, launch mode turns my D-Max into a dragster; luckily have a heavy canopy on the back or it would spin and snake all over the place. Minus a star for Cruise mode being difficult to select due to faulty know.”

“I have turned my unit off, I found it just didn’t suit town driving , if I had an automatic it may have been ok , however it just makes the manual patrol to jerky at the start and unless I drive the vehicle hard it makes the vehicle feel like it is starving for fuel. I originally bought the unit for towing camper trailer on the open road and I will probably just use the unit for this purpose.”

“The economy mode has no power whatsoever. You put your foot on the accelerator and it does nothing. It is dangerous in my opinion. The other settings are good but are a bit abrupt.”

“The installation of my Hikeit was easy and all went together without a problem, except to hide the connecting lead to the readout unit on the dash. In the end this took the majority of the time to install. I followed the included instructions, and after installation started the car and went for a drive. The car throttle control is now very much improved with a more immediate response and smooth acceleration. I also believe that HIKEit has increased my car's power output but I cannot prove that by figures, only that it feels much improved.”
