“Bought The Times from 1947 in a beautiful Wooden presentation box for my Dad's 70th Birthday. He loved it! Was really amazed I was able to obtain an authentic newspaper from so long ago. The wooden box is of very good quality and beautifully lined. The paper came carefully wrapped in tissue paper and there was a certificate of authenticity that I was able to add birthday wishes to. Really pleased with this as a special occasion gift.”

“I was very pleased with my purchase of the newspaper edition I bought for my Dad. It came in a smart presentation box with certificate and the Newspaper was carefully wrapped in tissue paper. It gave a feeling of care having been given to the item. My Dad loved it too which is the important thing and has taken it on the cruise they are on and is looking forward to reading it! I can highly recommend this product!”

“A good concept but attention to detail and refinement is lacking. Follow up is very perfunctory and customer relationship is poor. It is transactional and there is no value assigned to repeat business. The so called "certificate" has been cheapened over the years, the personalized embossing on the high end presentation box is no longer available. This was a good concept but one that is now widely available from many other web sites in many countries. Try harder !”

“Not a great experience and probably wouldn't use them again. I purchase as a gift for my parents 45th wedding anniversary and although I paid what I thought was more than reasonable for post and packaging, the item did not arrive in time (took over two weeks to arrive) and the company did not send via recorded or tracked mail. My parents went on holiday without their gift from us and had to have it when they returned, which sort of spoiled the day in my opinion. When I contacted customer services, I was told by the member of staff I could have a refund and if it turned up to return the item, then I was told her manager said I was entitled to one and I had to wait up to another two weeks in case it arrived. The item was nice and genuine when it finally arrived (although £50 for newspaper in a box that arrived late is high in my opinion), but would not buy from them again due to delivery and service. Of course they said they can't be held responsible for delivery, but if they are charging a delivery fee, as the seller they should be accountable to ensure the product is delivered (on-time) by tracked/recorded delivery. I would not recommend.”
