“I ordered th Stanton Custom Glencairn Whiskey Glasses Tasting Box (without engraving).
1) Someone else's order was delivered instead of mine; someone who had paid extra for FexEx 3-day so it would be there in time for Christmas. I sent their box to them on my dime so they'd have something sooner than waiting for a whole new kit to be made and shipped.
2) My order just arrived today. It's a POS. The lid is held on by two tiny magnets that are so weak the lid falls clean off if the box is tilted 90 degrees or more. The staining on the inside is horribly uneven. There are many defects in the wood that were merely stained over instead of filled, then stained, as any decent woodworker would do. AND the cutouts for the glasses are too deep/foam inserts are too high (take your pick), so if you push the glass down far enough to clear the lid, it's almost impossible to get the glass back out.
Caveat emptory, y' all!”
“Product received was as described. Shipping was delayed , however, staff helped resolve the issue and were very friendly. Would order from them in the future.”
