“Fittings seem great quality, unfortunately don't work on my Nylex hose. I believe it is the hoses fault though as it may not be standard size but not sure.”

“I am very happy with the new reel as the old reel would only partly retract after being cleaned out from being totally submerged and filled with silt from flooding in our area.The connection on the new reel from the hose to the handpiece (Trigger)is not good. If the hose or handpiece is pulled sideways water squirts out of the connection.”

“While we have had a hoselink hose for many years like all things they eventually wear out. It was time to replace the hose. We purchased the new Evolve editition. While the overall product appears to be good we were disappointed that the bracket that was firmly attached to our wall for the previous hose will now need to be replaced as the fittings are different. This should be spelt out prior to purchase as it has become a major exercise with removal and replacement. Maybe the company could offer an attachment that works around this issue.”

“The product seems good overall. Cons: Philips screw head is definitely not appropriate for the amount of torque to fasten the screws into structural pine. In addition, these screws are not standard Philips 2 even though they look like Philips 2. Make sure to use the provided screw bit. The case of the hose heel is easily scratched. Also the side covers come out too easily.”

“I might have said this before, but my “strong” suggestion is that ALL customers, especially first time customers, need to be aware that HoseLink also sell an adapter so that the common items that use “snap on” fittings can be used!”

“Love the Hoselink garden hose products and fittings. I have been disappointed with the solar lights as they have repeatedly failed. Hoselink has been great with replacement but I would prefer to purchase a sustainable product that does not continue to fail.”

“I have several Hoselink products and they all work well. Very simple and effective. However, I recently purchased a 20M hoselink and the hose wouldnt retract. After a few phone calls I go thru to customer help and I would like to close this repair and return a working unit asap. Ive received no feedback since dispatch. Remember, I paid for a product that works (not one that is faulty). How you resolve issues is very important to me. Overall still happy with Hoselink.”

“It would be good if included in the pack is at least one adapter for push in accessory eg. sprinkler or pressure washer. To have to order, pay extra and wait for one is an inconvenience.”

“It’s a bit annoying that first time customers get a discount and regulars get zippo / zero , even when I recently advised a fitting to attach generic adapters notching but thanks for your feedback !! Getting like the banks I feel , screw the loyalty give the bonus to the one time user ??”

“I purchased the poll to cement into the ground to place the original hose reel on it. It is way too short. You need to bury at least half of it into the ground and the hose reel will be sitting just above the ground. I have to buy a 600ml extender to bury that to then have the hose reel a decent height above the ground. Still love hoselink products and wouldn't think of purchasing anything else.”

“I’m happy so far with the performance of my new hose however I wish as standard you would include a few connectors so I can still utilise existing standard hose connections ie existing sprinklers, high pressure washer etc.”

“Am very happy with my stuff. Had a little trouble sorting gadgets to transfer old style connections but thanks to a very helpful, pleasant young lady I finally got it sorted. At this point I am impressed with the quality and handling of my 2 sprinklers and my lovely retractable hose reel.”
