Generally, when you upgrade your Hosting Plan, all your websites, files, emails, and such will be automatically transferred to the new plan, which means you will not need to move anything manually. “Combination of good and cheap hosting. My only gripe would be if you find out that hostinger is offering a good cheap plan that would be an upgrade to your plan, they make you buy that new plan separately as opposed to allow upgrade at that price. For existing plan the upgrade option is way too expensive. Example: You have 5yr basic plan for $1 a month : upgrade to Advanced tier $5 / month Advanced tier promo : $2 / month. Existing customers can buy that but you can’t upgrade your existing plan instead buy other 5yr plan for advanced tier So at the end I have 2 plan $1 / month basic plan for 5 yrs and $2/month advanced tier for 5 yrs Don’t get me wrong , it still is a good price but nickel and dimming customers like this is not much beneficial. Gives a feeling of being taken for a ride. Hope you folks change this practice”

After the upgrade, your current plan is automatically renewed for the number of months you purchase, plus the number of months from conversion. Let’s say you upgrade for 12 months, and your current plan is worth $100. Thus, the plan you want to upgrade costs $5/month, so that means once you upgrade you will get 12 months you pay for and 20 extra months converted from your current plan. “I am very happy with the service and prompt assistance from the support team. However, I do not give a 5-star rating because I believe your advertising is misleading. When I signed up I was under the impression I would get "free domain" as advertised, but that is not correct. It is free if you register a new domain or let your current domain expire and re-register with Hostinger. Also, if you own a localised domain (ex. .com.au) you will have to pay regardless. It happened to a friend of mine to whom I recommended Hostinger. If these advertising issues are solved I will definitely give a 5-star.”
