The apartment at whitby driftwood was clean & well presented however there was no hand wash in kitchen or bathroom the water pressure was really poor & the shower head was full of limescale so did not function well. There was no wash up liquid & only 1 dishwasher tablet we ate out other than breakfast so there was not really enough to load dishwasher but we did as no liquid. we were advised by you that cliff st car park was nearest however this is only short stay so we had to keep going back to top parking up. I feel the cost of the stay was over priced for the experience .

Paid for 2 nights for one of their properties in Holmfirth (Woodland View). Request for early access to the cottage denied. Found property with no problems. Well located and a lovely 30 minute walk into Holmfirth along the river bank. Cottage was OK but for the following: 1. Tv not working, said there was freeview with 70 channels and radio but could not access. TV listing saying not programmed. Rang Host&Stay all they said was tune in the TV, tried that 3xtimes but still didn't work. Had to stream netflex from own private account to get the TV with something to watch. 2. Kitchen only equipped with 4 of everything, which meant that you had to wash everything up before each meal to get any clean plates, would have been nice to have surplus plates, cutlery and crockery. 3. Radiators had peeling paint and nearly all the radiators were rusty on the top. 4. House not really cleaned. Thick dust on lamp shades, doors and skirting boards. Cobwebs and spiders in the corners of the ceiling. 5. Living room rug was dirty. Location was brilliant but don't think we will be using Host & Stay again.

I stayed in a Bromyard Road, Worcester apartment. The apartment was fine, could have been cleaned better but not bad. It served a purpose. The customer service was not great though. I was given the wrong code for the key box and spent half an hour on the phone being told it was the right one and I was doing it wrong only to then be told it was actually the wrong code and given a new one to use. Once in, there was no information on the WIFI. I called up and they didn't know what network or password to use and told I would get a call back. I did not get a call back so called them back after half an hour and spent yet another half an hour on the phone before finding out all the details. Things like this should be made available on checking in or physically displayed in the apartment.

We had a long wknd at Britton Hall Bungalow. (3rd -6th January ) We have family in the aera. The Bungalow was very warm clean & tidy. The beds were very comfortable. I would have given it 4stars but the kitchen lacked basic equipment. No Grater or big bowls for making salads etc just normal dinner sets & glasses. The gate when we arrived was broken & on the ground so although pets were allowed the garden wasn't secure. We had a lot of snow on Sunday which was beautiful but considering the aera & the weather a snow shovel might be a good investment as we encountered difficulty leaving the house to get to the car . ( Hubby booked on his email but doesn't do reviews )

The fisherman’s cottage was a very cute cosy place in an excellent location with plenty of cafes and restraints around as well as pubs and nice shops to mooch about. We enjoyed our stay with our fur baby, however the cleaning and facilities were far from our standard. To begin with you enter around back of property which is pitch black after sunset, we were there Jan 2/6 so 4 pm in our case. The back door is extremely stiff, I had to call Host and Stay and say we were locked out. After many attempts we gained access. It was warm and cosy so we unpacked and settled in. I did not find cutlery and kitchen equipment clean so I actually bleached all the things we were going to use before we could use anything. The oven was very smoky where it needed a clean, the toilet was stained at the bottom very unattractive. I went to use spare quilt in top of wardrobe and it was full of hairs, however as soon as I called it was replaced later that day. A few other minor things but we did not let it spoil our stay, we would definitely return to Cromer but not to this accommodation u til it had a deep clean and some maintenance

The company was really good there was a couple of issues but they got solved straight away , The only problem I had was certain parts of the apartment wasn’t very clean the bath , the bedroom which I think is more down too the cleaners not the people themselves apart from that it’s a really nice place .

The apartment is well furnished and great location. However, we were unhappy with the cleanliness as we found a used dirty underwear behind the door, dirty washing machine and the kittle needed descaling.

A great location with amazing views but with a few things holding it back from being a great place to stay. I’ll get the negatives out the way first. There’s some particularly bad mould round one of the windows in the bedrooms that is all round the frame and across the blind too. It was enough of a concern that those using the room considered sleeping in the lounge instead. Also the shower in the second room had a blocked drain meaning that the shower could only run for a couple of minutes at a time before it would potentially overflow. Also with the bathrooms both essentially being en-suites it doesn’t leave those in the bedroom without a bathroom with much privacy. In general the apartment didn’t feel the cleanest and could do with a bit of modernisation in a couple of the bedrooms. Having said all that the living areas along with the ‘master’ bedroom were very nice, big and comfortable with plenty of seating. The views from all of the rooms were truly amazing and made the stay worth it. If Whitby Town are at home you can sit and watch the game from the kitchen. The building itself clearly has lots of history and is currently undergoing some renovation work. The corridors were very spooky when coming home at night! Ultimately you get what you pay for and this is one of the cheaper places to stay as a midsized group in Whitby, but still think the mould is a major drawback.

The apartment is in a great location with lovely views First impressions count and the carpet in the hall is badly stained so as you come in it’s not a very good welcome The lounge , bedrooms and kitchen are nice but the bathroom in my opinion does need a good clean The sofas in the living room could do with some covers on as they have got scuff marks on from i presume from dogs Information about the apartment and how to get in are very good and we were kept informed. This review is for Avenue Victoria Apartment Scarborough

We had a lovely stay in Hutton Le Hole but the number of emails I received from host and stay were unbelievable, the latest one, had I printed it off was 77 pages long making it really difficult and tedious to read instructions on directions to the property and access codes etc

The fist thing I want to say how disappointed we were that we had to pay a £500 deposit one week before our booking and won’t get it back for up to two weeks after our booking and then pay a £15 transaction fee, could be up to four weeks with our £500 in their account. We won’t be using Host & Stay again. The house it self was ok. There was plenty of room for four couples. The roof in the kitchen leaked which we reported. The biggest problem was the noise. The floorboards had all been sanded and left which meant you could hear everything throughout the house. Underlay and carpeting would have certainly helped. The house was very well located near the beach and 5 mins from the train and bus stamps.

Hi we enjoyed ouer stay in sort of way… Before we arrived we shopping food we are going to make for the days we are going to stay. So we had bought frozen food and so on as well because we now it was a fridge there…. But the fridge was frozen all over so we couldnt put in anything there. So we have to drive to ouer relatives and put the food in there fridge.. We contact host and stay and told about the fridge and sent photo of the fridge.. We got another phonenumber to call but we feelt that how can the do it work, Its taking days to get red off all the Ice in the hole fridge. One of us working on the computer so didnt want to have people and noise around in the kitchen when defrost.. So it wasnt a good start. If we didnt have the relatives we had to throw all the frozen food away. So it was uppsetting because we booked a flat to stay because we should cooking food. I took even a picture on the stowe it was ingraid dirty so we didnt use that. We didnt even look in the oven!! Its hanging a lot of dust on the wall over the doublebed you see when you turn on the light… I didnt even look in the other room..

Close enough to walk into town. Lovely Panett Park nearby (although not for dogs but great for the kids). Apartment seemed very nice on the surface but we soon encountered a few problems, dirty duvet with stain of body fluids given to us to use which was the worst thing and a definite no no when hosting guests to pay and stay at your apartment. There was a few other issues which we reported. Owner could only apologise but definitely wouldn’t stay there again at this particular apartment. Didn’t think much of the maintenance team.

Stayed in Abby Court Whitby. Firstly.. the apartment was lovely, clean and had everything we wanted. Had to take out Damage Protection which is fine, be aware its either an extra £25 or £10 if you pay £250 on your credit card, which takes 2 weeks to get £240 refunded if all OK. When we arrived a car permit hadn't been left, I contacted 01287 658171 who said they would be in touch through Airbnb.... they weren't and we had to park 10/15 minutes walk away in the rain. Found pass in key safe as we left, communication would have been good. Apartment was up 3 flights of stairs which was OK, but at night the stairs had NO lights. At 3.15am we had to evacuate due to Fire Alarm going off so these Stairs were a danger. There is no process on where the muster point is in this emergency. I called one of the "emergency" numbers in the entrance, but they were no use. In the end the Fire Bridgade came, checked building, stopped alarm and we got back in at 4.15am. You need more instruction on what to do in this situation, we were not happy. Place its self lovely, service not so good once we arrived.

A Cottage in Staveley-in-Cartmel, During our entire stay, we couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi and had to rely on hot spotting each other for work and university meetings. The smart TV found no signal, but we managed to get one working on the last night. Also, the remote location made it difficult for even Uber to pick us up so we missed a lot of prebooked activities. Given these issues, I’m not sure I can leave a completely positive review but it was a good place to sleep for the short days we stayed for

Stayed at merchants quarters Scarborough location fantastic in first class order. Real shame was the lack of comfortable chairs. For 4 adults there was only a 2 seater settee. The top of the skirting boards were really dusty throughout and the front room with the double bed needs a really good hoovering underneath, sorry but disgusting. Such a shame because it is such a lovely apartment. Would go back and would recommend to others.
