Worst customer service I ever encountered! Live chat, but they copy paste answers and don’t answer to your actual question! I waited for three and a half hours! Never waited thing long and I blame the app that kept switching between ‘rider heading to restaurant’ and ‘still assigning a rider’….zero compensation. Horrible. Unbelievably poor service!

I contacted deliveroo support team for assistance with a payment that crashed and they were unable to resolve it for me. I paid for a £30 gift card and that was lost when the app crashed. They said I would need to wait 48 hours for a refund of the gift card. When I'm obviously ordering there and then, they were unable to provide we with a new gift card code so I could replace my order. I shouldn't need to pay £67.99 for one meal when I have bought the voucher and the app crashed causing this error. When I spoke to erika on live chat I had to ask 3 times to be put through to her supervisor. Her manager abigail was equally unhelpful and said I had to wait 2 days to use my voucher to order my food (which I'm buying today) which makes no sense and isn't reasonable. I think your staff need more training on how to resolve issues for their customers and more tools available to help them to do that.

We had two items missing. They refunded for one but not the other. No reason given. Rip off. What was meant to be a nice treat just turned out to be an annoying rip off.

Don't bother with Deliveroo. Got ripped off by a company and they would not do nothing about it! Fob you off and do not care! Stick with Just Eat!!!

Ordered a burrito and drink via Deliveroo, the driver then turned up with just the drink then went to leave. I brought him back to be like where is the Burrito, his English was poor and just shrugged saying restaurants fault. Called the restaurant and they said the driver was given the whole order and he’s stolen it. The only positive is that calling up Deliveroo led to them quickly reordering my item for me and apologised. It’s becoming a regular occurrence of items going missing!

I order from deliveroo all the time although today I made an order for a substantial amount of money and I was told I was not entitled to a refund I was looking at the driver's location to see if it would come up and it didn't all I saw was the message saying order delivered I never received an order this is not the first time it's happened and I am not the only one has happened to I strongly advise nobody ever using this service as they don't even offer you a refund for the theft they have caused I am reporting this to the police and I hope anybody else who has been manipulated and stolen off will do the same as I do as a Mr will shu has obviously not confirmed these drivers and I are not willing to give out information as to where an order has been delivered to should be reported to the police for such theft

I was sexually assaulted by a deliveroo driver. He forced his way into my flat pushed me to my knees under his trousers and forced my head onto his bits. I fought like hell and he left. My flat is covered by CCTV and the police clearly saw the deliveroo driver going to my flat leaving and five minutes later he returned. Trouble is the man kept on his helmet and due to the poor management system at Deliveroo the police couldnt track down the exact person as various people were covering each others shifts. If you want to avoid beinfg sexually assaulted then avoid Deliveroo absolutely dreadful company. When I personally conacted them after the police they literally could not care less yet there was CCTV footage of someone wearing their uniform returning to my flat for a second time after delivering food . Totally and utterly shocking

Ok, so I’m inclined to agree that I feel this company has a bit of a scam going. No wonder the drivers earn so much. My ongoing issue with this company is missing items. From different places. A . Are the drivers stealing the food. B. Where’s compensation? When an item is missing you have 2 options.. instant credit or 3 week refund that may never appear. I need the items, you get credit, re order then they want to charge you for delivery and order fees again. Scam, every time I’m insisting they credit my account. However it keeps me as the customer. I think I need to delete the app. I also think my local Sainsburys blocked me because I said items missing which has devastated me as I’ve never Stolen or scammed anyone in my life . There is simply something off with this company.

I ordered a KFC party pocket and a 20 hot wings pocket costing me £47.18. Somehow they managed to deliver the chips only out of the whole order, no chicken no dips no drinks no wings. Nothing just cold chips. The driver refused to take the chips back and bring the missing items. KFC Chorlton in Manchester refused to send the rest of the meal. The driver and the restaurant claims it is a Deliveroo issue and I have to follow the complaint procedure wich I did. Several emails and calls and the refund me £27.39 only! They have failed to explain why I was charged £20 . I honestly believe that Deliveroo is an organised criminal gang, and I am so surprised that they are allowed to operate in the UK. App been deleted and blocked their emails.

Riders omg.. They refuse to come upstairs (i am living in apartments block) to deliver the order to the door because 'they have a bike', it happened twice last night even though before a second attempt i contacted their customer support where i explained that due to illness i cant come downstairs to collect. Two delivery attempts, two different delivery mans, two refusals to deliver it to the door. Latter one left it outside the gate and food has been directly stolen. Horrible, delivery guys do decide where your order gonna be delivered, so I guess even person a wheelchair would of been forced to go downstairs from a 7th floor just because prince's 'are by a bike'. Even though enjoyed food before, been regular customer, this is it. Drivers attitude are ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES, like not you pay for your order and to be delivered but other way round. I don't recommend at all. During second conversation with customer support i have been offered only a deliveroo credit by them as they said they cant refund me my money as the order has been delivered. Only after further argument from me they had processed the refund. Won't order anything anymore.

In over 35 years in business this company’s customer service is by far the very worst. I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with 12 agents with many asking the same generic questions that I’d already answered in full. A case of ‘the blind leading the blind’. This company took money from my card that was never authorised by myself and they’ve decided to stick two fingers up at me. I will never use this amateur company again. It seems that the calibre of staff they employ are of very low intelligence.

Made small order from Morrisons! Over two hours to arrive…ok things happen! On looking at receipt two things were crossed out the total of which was £10 .19 which I expected as refund waited a couple of days thinking it’ would be refunded automatically back to my bank/. But no refund did live chat with deliveroo explaining! Was told as it over 48 hour since the order no refund or credit would be issued:( say what!!! Isn’t that stealing??? Will never use these thieving@%#/;:,”**& again…

App is completely unreliable - declines payments for no reason or just says 'something went wrong'. This was pretty frustrating, but then I realised that I'm better off not wasting £30 on a freezing cold burger, soggy chips and half-spilt milkshake. Or finding out my order has disappeared.

Rite so I placed a order for a meat parcel 20pound worth of meat I was waiting over one hour half they tell me driver turned up nobhe did not I recieve nothing at all if he turn up y not ring or knock door bell avoid this company after email them five tines sent them screen shot money went from my account they tell me I would get full 20 pound refund then they tell me it never money left my account please be aware of this company bad service and take your money for something never turned up I would not be using them again also I do not not recommend them at all

Driver refused to actually deliver to my door and sat in his car. Was nowhere to be found when I went out. Then decided to say he’d delivered the food already when he hadn’t. Promised a refund by the useless chat in 5-10 working days. So I’ll likely not get my money back for two weeks. Avoid entirely. Not worth the aggro when you’re hungry.
