“Very pleased with the entire process. Our rep was extremely kind and thoroughly explained both the benefits and potential shortfalls for my particular situation. The inserts arrived in a good timeframe and were pretty easy to install. They have helped cut down the outside noise a ton and overall we’re very happy with the results.”

“WOW the Indows are amazing - we have a 1925 Spanish revival home with 37 original casement windows. The windows were extensively rehabbed inside and out by a prior owner and are in fabulous condition - but of course they are only single panes. We just received an initial order of six Indows to see if we like them and we are just blown away by the difference they have made in these three rooms. Yes it can be a little tricky to get them delivered to your house from the freight warehouse (especially here in the NY metro area) but that is not the fault of Indow. They all fit perfectly and honestly you don't even know they are there! The prior owners also installed pull down screens using an interior metal frame - so the Indows fit perfectly against those frames. Just super happy with the Indows and I know for certain we will be ordering more of them!”

Kathy, It is so great to hear that our inserts have helped create quiet and comfort without compromising the unique character of your 1925 home. There is nothing like being able to preserve historic windows and mate them with our unobtrusive inserts to provide more modern level of energy savings and noise reduction. We certainly appreciate your comment about freight. While we are seeing improvements in the shipping industry, it is still being affected by unexpected delays and logistical limitations. “These inserts are fabulous! I have an historic house with huge wavy glass and leaded glass windows. Phil was amazing and patiently guided me through the measuring process. Now with winter bearing down on us the cold is greatly diminished thanks to the Indows. Job well done. I would recommend these heartily! Thanks”

“Ordered 3 for noise reduction in my bedroom. My windows are over 100 years old and local historic preservation will not allow replacements. I worked with Reed on my order and received the windows in Nov 22. I love them! They fit perfectly and work as advertised. The noise level dropped tremendously. I plan to order 4 more soon. Definitely recommend.”

“We have had the inserts in for about 4 weeks and have experienced some cold Iowa weather with windy conditions. These windows are North side of our home. In the past we placed an electric oil radiator in front of the windows to warm the cold air seeping in. With the "Indows" in place, no auxiliary heater is needed. So far, very happy. And, they look great!”

“Our 20 year old WI home has cheap vinyl windows. Rather than do the major spend to replace them, we ordered (3) Indows for the windows creating the most issues (especially in winter). We have just installed these - the difference they have made is just AMAZING! The window spaces are "out of square", and have slightly bowed sills; and the Indows silicone frame COMPLETELY filled any gaps - no more drafts, room temps are better too!. This was a very good spend - highly recommend Indows as a solution option for bad windows. The Indows process to purchase and customer service and support were excellent as well!”

Mike, Thanks for the review and thanks for the pic. Many folks find these a valuable option to the expense of replacing windows. As you noted, our inserts are custom made and sized to fit window areas that are not square. It turns out that most window situations have a fair bit of variance. Our system is set up to provide inserts to match the shape and create the seal you mention. As we pride ourselves on every aspect of the process from design to delivery, we certainly appreciate your positive feedback.

“They're heavier than we expected but fit beautifully. Storing them when not using will be a challenge to keep them from bending. All in all very happy with them.”

Kathleen, We are happy to hear the inserts are in and fit beautifully. Our design aims at lightweight insert with no compromise on durability. Larger inserts can be a bit heavier than expected and can occasionally require a second person for safe install. We have provided storage and handling guidelines with the order. When these are adhered to, the issues of and bending are easily mitigated. They are designed to be with you and your house for the years to come.

“We needed a sound barrier in our sunroom. We have Eze-Breeze windows in our sunroom and we did not want to hear our next-door neighbors when they are in their yard. We did not expect the Indow inserts to block sounds completely. We were happily surprised when we received them. Even with just vinyl windows from ceiling to floor, you cannot hear any sound in the sunroom now! They were very easy to order. The Indow team is extremely helpful and customer oriented. The inserts are also easy to install. It is one of the best investments we made. We noticed that the inserts help with insulation as well, although we have them only on one of the three walls that have the Eze-Breeze windows. If your neighbors are a bit noisy, don't exhitate to buy the inserts. It is money very well spent!”

“Excellent, as expected. The less unexpected included: dealing with multiple (very available) Indow folks, each specializing in a stage; good appearance, low weight, and flexible borders of insets; heavy packaging delivered to the foot of our long drive in Canada. At times, how to access instructions was not obvious. The lack of heft meant that I could install large insets by myself. We are pleased and would do it again without question.”

“My window inserts significantly reduced road noise and have improved my sleep. Phil and the whole team were great throughout the entire process. I never felt pressured to buy. “My house, a small one-story bungalow built in 1917, has 8 double hung windows and 5 smaller windows in a sun room. For 12 years, I used plastic shrink-wrap insulation. This summer I spoke with Indow Windows and decided to take the plunge. Seven weeks later, my inserts are installed. I could not be more pleased. They look terrific, for one thing. Customer service was stellar (and astoundingly patient). Installation was straightforward, even if nothing in this little house is precisely square, and fairly easy. It took a bit longer than suggested, but not that much. No freezing overnight temperatures quite yet but the first night with the inserts the temperature inside was 2 degrees warmer than the previous night without them. This speaks volumes for me. I can't wait to see the difference when I finally crank up the furnace on November 1. The investment was a sizable one for me but an excellent one worth every penny. Thank you, Indow !”
