This was my third or fourth CPR training, and it was the best so far. Meghan did a great job explaining everything in detail, using stories so that the information would be easier to retain. Our group was very responsive, and she was very engaging. I believe we all left the class confident in our skills, whether the info was new for us, or if we had taken many classes before.

Overall, the CPR class was informative and well-structured. However, I want to highlight a concern regarding one of the test questions that I believe was unfair and logically flawed. The question presented a scenario where an AED had detected an irregular heartbeat and asked what the next step should be. According to the student handbook, the steps for using an AED are: 1: Turn it on 2: Follow the prompts 3: Clear for analyzing 4: Clear for shock (if advised by AED) 5: Press the shock button (if advised) 6: Resume chest compressions Given that the AED had already analyzed the rhythm and detected an abnormality, we would logically be at step 4 or 5. I selected “Clear the body for shock,” which aligns with step 4. However, the answer key indicated that the correct response was “Follow the prompts,” which is step 2. This seems inconsistent. If we’ve already reached the point where the AED has analyzed the rhythm, then we must have already followed the prompts—otherwise, the AED wouldn’t have reached that conclusion. The question appears to disregard the sequence outlined in the handbook and implies a regression in steps, which is confusing and misleading. While I appreciate challenging questions that encourage critical thinking, this one felt more like a misstep in logic than a test of knowledge. I would have scored 100% had this question been more accurately aligned with the training materials.

I loved my teacher Rob, he was a amazing. I can tell he cares about people, and saving other people's lives. He definitely wants his students to be able do the same. I hope to have him again next time I take an in pulse cpr class!

This is my second time around taking my CPR certification with In-Pulse and it's been great each time! I had Rob as my instructor this time around and it was a great class. I was dreading having to redo my certication because I didnt want to sit through a 4 hour class on my day off but it was way better than I expected! 10 out of 10 recommended In-Pulse CPR and Rob as an instructor!

I have yet to receive my completion certificate. Class was sufficient in recertifying but communication was lacking in what training we were to receive today.

The hands-on work with the manaquins was very helpful. By the time we got to that, we felt like we had the necessary information and directions and we knew what to do.
