Please don't leave bad reviews due to not receiving a card. That has nothing to do with the quality of the class or the instructor. Sometimes there is an error in the spelling of an email or name that will cause a delay. Always call our office if you have not received your card within 2 business days so that we can reissue the card. In this case, your card was issued on 2.7.23 1 day after your class completion and remains unclaimed by you on the AHA website.

My first class was scheduled for Jan 5th in Glen Mills. The instructor did not show up. I called the next day to reschedule, Jan 7th 9:00 am in Media. There was some mixup and we got an email at 9:06 saying class was delayed until 10:00. The instructor was fine but I still have not received my card. Wouldn’t recommend.

A bus driver teaching BCLS for healthcare providers…seriously?? A person with NO medical experience teaching medical professionals! What were you thinking? Though the instructor was very nice, she was ill-prepared to teach life-saving skills. It was beyond sub-standard. I am seriously disappointed. She could not answer questions. I have been a nurse for 30 years and currently teach nursing at the university level, therefore am well-versed in CPR. I can attest that she incorrectly instructed students. She repeatedly did not know the answer to questions asked, for example, does one check for a pulse before beginning CPR (she told the class if the person is unresponsive, start CPR, do not check for a pulse first). When asked if one should activate EMS first or start CPR first, she did not know the answer. When I asked her if we were going to cover infant CPR since it appeared she was moving on to reviewing for the test but not covering infants, she then got out the infants but never taught infants CPR! She only covered back and front blows for choking. I was shocked she didn’t teach CPR for infants. Very poor instruction. She then wrote the answers on the board and reviewed (gave us the answers to the test) and distributed the test. She never covered how to switch in 2-man CPR, what to do when you find a person submerged in water, what to do if person has been electrocuted, how to do heimlich manuveur for choking, placement of pads for AED, and so many concepts she simply didn’t know. This is the second time I’ve taken CPR through in-pulse CPR. All my career it’s always been with first responders as instructors. Please keep your standards as they were. Those with no medical experience should not be teaching life-saving skills. It is my opinion you are jeopardizing public health in doing so. Thank you, Kathleen Hearn, MSN-Ed, RN

Hello Kathleen, We are sorry about the quality of the CPR class you attended. We take great pride in offering the best CPR class that money can buy but this time we obviously didn't meet expectations. We have hundreds of community classes and thousands of students each year finding our sessions the best they ever attended. A high percentage of them are RN's like yourself. We are not perfect and occasionally fall short. I will look into the quality of the instructor and recommend appropriate action. I am also in the process of refunding you the tuition for the class just in case you wanted to attend a different class with another provider. Respectfully, Troy Bowman Business Manager

Have not received my card. Class was completed on the 11th and it's the 15th. Still no word on my card. The class was great but I still need my card.

Hello Jessica, We are glad you enjoyed the Instructor and the class. The couple-day delay in receiving your card was due to us not having your online BLS certificate in our office so we could forward the information to The American Heart Association. In-pulse CPR issues cards within 2 business days as long as there are no issues and it's not a weekend or holiday. Other companies take up to 10 days to issue cards. Your card was issued on 1.15.22 If you were happy with the class and instructor would you consider changing your review to reflect that?

Hello Jessica, You have left us a 1-star review on January 12th. We resolved your issue after receiving confirmation from you for the required online component certificate, are you to revise your star rating and give us 5-stars? We would appreciate it. Troy (Business Mgr)

We would love if you could revise your 1 star rating of In-Pulse CPR to 5 stars.

I feel that there should have been better protections in place, for prevention of contracting COVID. People were way to close together for my comfort levels around the virus.

We are working on making sure our classes are appropriate for the amount of students so there is adequate room. Sometimes this can be a challenge.

In all my 6 years of being a lifeguard and 2 years being a CNA and taking countless BLS courses, this instructor was the worst I have had teach a BLS course.

Hello. You must have caught us on a bad day. This instructor has thousands of student reviews with an almost perfect 5-star rating and has been teaching for almost 10 years. I am sorry to hear about your experience.

My instructor blatantly did not know what she was talking about and could not answer questions from the class. Waste of money and time.

I don’t feel like I learned much. The instructor didn’t make it seem as serious as I thought she should have.
