“Needs more energy”

“From the time I walked in the door, it seemed that the main focus of the instructor was to get us out the door as soon as possible. Many of the students were only there to renew their certs, and the class was a great review for them. But for those of us who were doing the class for the first time, it left much to be learned. I was disappointed that the instructor didn't take more time working with us and instructing us new students more individually. Our teacher also worked with us on the test answers, which felt like cheating to me. I don't feel like I got what I paid for... I wanted to really learn!”

“Lacked the proper written material. Needs a visual presentation. Confusing addition at the end on Narcan. This was some of the participants first dive into anything medical. Need to separate classes for newbies and those rectifying.”

“The teacher was great but they “had a scheduling error” and we had to call 30 min after our class started to figure out what was going on. They did not apologize and expected is to come back that day at a later time. Many of us drove over an hour to be there and the fact they didn’t bother to call to inform anyone or apologize was absolutely ridiculous. Awful customer service.”

Unfortunately, there was a scheduling error however we were not aware of it until students started calling and letting us know that there was not an instructor there. We didn't call to inform students because we didn't know of the error until then. For those students that were not able to come back later in the day a refund or transfer to another class was offered. We apologized to every student that called us and also let the hotel know of the error and asked them to give our apologies to the students that were waiting. We are very sorry for the error and the inconvenience.

We issued your card on 11.26.21 the same day you took the class. It has already been claimed. If you are having trouble with retrieving your card from the American Heart Association. Please call us and we will give you the web address as well as an ecard code to help you in obtaining it.

“I paid $65 for a class that was supposed to be a 4 hour class and it only lasted for 1 hour. 9am to 10am. A discount would have been nice”

We apologize for the error in the time limit on the hotel meeting room. A full refund has been processed and another 4 hour BLS class offered for free.

“Was somewhat disappointed in this class this year. I had a guy called JR - 2 years ago in Fridley, MN - and he was fabulous ! The 2 for this class didnt seem organized. Not sure if I’ll take this from here in 2 years. My co- workers that also signed up for this at a different location were also disappointed - their instructors never showed up ! I was embarrassed that I recommended this class to them. Never again !”

Hello Diane - I am confused. Everyone who attends our classes gets an American Heart 2 year certificate. Have you claimed your certification certificate yet? If not, give our office a call and we can help get it to you. Your workbook you received also has instructions on how to claim your certification.

“- It was easy to register online for the course. - The classroom in general was too small. There wasn’t room to get on the floor when it was time to practice our hands on skills with the manikins. - the instructor was friendly and knowledgeable - Wish there was another instructor to help assist, given the class size - Wish there more time was given to practice the skills. - Also, wish that at the end of the course, like the written portion, the skills portion had to be tested out. I feel like that’s a very important piece in this course.”

Hello Kristin - We at In-Pulse require all our students to spend adequate time to demonstrate their CPR skills on a manikin in front of an instructor as required by the AHA. Since it sounds like this didn't happen at your class I have already reached out to the instructor as to why to determine if he will need additional training. In-Pulse CPR strives to offer the best class experience possible. As to the size of the class, we had a website glitch that caused that class to get much larger than we would normally allow. Since this class was on a Monday morning, that website glitch went unnoticed as our office is closed over a weekend. This caught us under-staffed and over capacity. I am sorry. I will be reaching out to you privately as well.
