Had issues with processing insurance renewal on line. Had to contact intasure and process renewal payment via Telephone. Advisor via telephone was very helpful and informative and easily processed my payment.

Good service and policy realistically pitched for those of us who do not live in a property full time. The only thing which leaves a bad taste is the Transaction Processing Fee when paying the premium as a one off lump sum. This is on top of "Taxes and other charges", which together add almost 15% to the premium.

Took advantage of the reminder phone call to realise that I was not happy with the excess, but for a small fee could lower that amount. Have always found the employees very helpful, and friends who unfortunately have had to make a claim were very happy. Word of mouth goes a long way.

Intasure appear to be the market leaders for holiday home insurance. Having conducted a price comparison for our holiday apartment in Spain, Intasure's price and conditions came out best by far. All similar online/telephone/insurers suffer from one (probably unavoidable) problem. The statements and caveats that have to be read out to customers are becoming so long, and so many of them, that one's interest wains. It seems to be left to junior staff to deal with these enquiries. There seems to be a poor procedure for transferring unusual phone enquiries to somebody more senior. Instead, one tends to be transferred to another junior employee or called back later. Sometimes the call-back is with a more senior person; sometimes not. This common problem resulted in me aborting two telephone enquiries with Intasure competitors and very nearly happened with Intasure also. I suggest that cold enquiries may be lost as a result of expecting staff to reply to nearly all enquiries with a large selection of alternative 'readings' Additional training to deal with routine holiday home insurance questions ought not to be too difficult??

Good customer service and follow up. Intasure ensures customers understand policy conditions and endorsements. I would like to be able to access my account online.

Whilst I have been with Intasure for almost 10 years and they have always been very competitive, I feel this time around, it was a disappointing experience and felt as a "returning customer" I was not given best price. I have re insured with Intasure, only as a "known company" and lack of time on my part - Next year I will be doing more homework!

I have been quite happy with Intasure's prices and modus operandi for several years now and have renewed again this year. I have two suggestions for improvement. 1. I was reminded by telephone 3 times that my renewal was due, in addition to the email reminder. Two of the calls were on holiday in Greece. I do not need so many reminders. 2. I receive several copies of the various renewal documents with renewal reminders, at the time of renewal and after I have renewed. One copy is sufficient. Regards, David Mayes

The renewal notice arrived in plenty of time. There was a freephone number for queries and despite a slight misunderstanding over the cost of extra cover, this was resolved fairly quickly and the final figure was heavily discounted which was appreciated.
