Generally service was good but it took three phone calls and speaking to different staff in order to finalise the details of my property insurance. Well done James.

This review is for Intasure’s other customers, so I’ll compose it accordingly: You probably chanced upon this provider when Googling for cover for an old property that incorporates a holiday let – at least that’s how we found it; the age of our cottage didn’t make for any difficulty in assessing the risk: it shouldn’t ‘cos it has been here many centuries, but watch that the renewal doesn’t fail to transfer details correctly – it did once for us and the jump in premium was what alerted us to an error. Sorry – that’s a bit obvious, and emphasised by Intasure at several points: DO check the details every renewal, ‘cos if something wrong gets incorporated then it is the client’s fault for not picking it up. Yes, the lady going through the renewal process does sound like an air hostess doing the emergency drill, but they have a script to follow and the details need going through; and there really is no point in getting angry about the processing charge – of course it is more than the cost Intasure have to absorb for the credit card payment, but they are being transparent about the element of what you pay that doesn’t go to the underwriters, or HMRC or company expenses, and singling out what it costs to take your money which is less than most of their competitors.

Service was good, although I had asked the day previously for a callback, which wasn't forthcoming. I had already answered the required questions twice and had to do it again when I telephoned to renew the policy. It was obvious that the customer service representative was reading from a script, which mitigated the personal factor., but he was polite

I have a couple of rental properties insured with Intasure for a few years now. I have always found them to be very professional and proactive in their dealings with me. I have recommended them to my friends without any hesitation.

Friendly informative staff, spoke in plain, simple language. Transparent and honest information given - no hidden extras or clauses [so refreshing!] Only quibble is difficulty in registering via customer portal - temporary password entered and new one chosen but keep being told 'current password is incorrect'

Very helpful, professional and friendly on the phone. It would be nice if you offered to send out paper copies as I need them for my files and it is a pain to have to find someone with a printer to achieve this.

Intasure was recommended by a family member, who already has a policy with the company. Communication by 'phone and by email was entirely without problems. The quotation seemed to me to represent good value for money. The whole process towards setting up insurance cover was very efficient. The only difficulty I experienced was in registering to view my documents online. The login and registration system refused to accept the temporary password Intasure had emailed to me. After three attempts I abandoned trying to register.

I think it is wrong to charge extra for using a debit card, trying to get people to go to a direct debit system
