We received very good support during a claim last year and were thoroughly satisfied. Despite a significant rise in premium this year we feel that we receive value for money. The only reason for not giving a higher overall score is the lack of transparency concerning the added cost for paying a premium as one payment rather than by direct debit. This was only made clear when I questioned the amount I was quoted on the phone in comparison with the premium I was expecting to pay.

Helpful staff, who, having first offered an uncompetitive quote, came back a few minutes later with a substantially better one, saving me around £30.

Good customer service and called back when they promised. Good level of cover and reasonable cost for the cover provided. Proof of how good Intasure really are would be in the event of a claim.

Your staff are polite and helpful so it is easy to do business. I checked out other companies this year an all were cheaper than your quote but there were differences in the cover. However the interesting point arose over 'no claims' bonus. All companies asked for this and I don't see any mention of this in your papers. We have been with you since 2009 and have received no 'no claims' bonuses. Additionally you have put up your quote each year such that it has got to the state of affairs where I am concerned about it and I cannot see the need for these increases and they are not in line with various economic indices. I strongly suggest you implement a 'no claims' system and give your client a reward for a clean record! If it goes up again next year I shall put myself in a position where I have more time to research the market. Christine Rayner

We have been insuring our UK and Spanish property with Intasure for 5 years. We have had no claims. The annual renewal process is effective and efficient. The staff responses to our discussions have been thorough and quick.

I have never claimed although we have used them for an overseas property insurance for about 4 years now. The proof would be in the 'pudding' - a claim - of course. Renewal is always a telephone call to get the price back to what it was the year before. Their- and other insurers rule - seems to be try and get an extra 10% for not claiming!, and give it back if the client complains. Same with all insurers. Nice to deal with at renewal each year.

Would have been 5 stars but it takes ages to get an answer to the phone which is a shame because once through the service is very good and very helpful
