“Lovely day at Stratford on Avon, the Cotswolds, and Oxford. Our guide, Kristina, was excellent, very willing to share her knowledge but not overwhelming one with facts and dates and such, and also funny and approachable. Daniel was our driver and he was also quite nice and friendly. Don't be afraid to ask lots of questions, and also keep in mind that International Friends has many tours to pick from, almost all of which are small group tours. Small group tours may cost a little bit more, but the extra little bit is very, very worth it.”

“Great tour from port to Warner Bros Studios (Harry Potter). When We disembarked the ship in Dover we were met with a tour guide and we quickly left our bags under the bus and waited for the rest of guests on the bus. We saw a lot of people waiting in a ridiculously long line for taxis and many long lines for other tours. We were very happy that we chose International Friends. The trip to the Studios took 2,5h with a quick bathroom break and we got some history from our guide. We got 3,5h on our own at the Studios and that was perfect time for us. We saw everything and ate lunch. The trip to London and our hotel was a mess. There had been a bicycle race that morning and the bridges were still closed. Traffic everywhere and our chauffeur got wrong information from the police. We had to travel for over 1,5h more than we ought to have. This was definitely not our driver or guides fault. We would absolutely use International Friends again and I definitely recommend them and this tour for everyone.”

“Traveled in small group from Southampton to Heathrow over small roads.Our driver presented detailed information as we went along. Great pub lunch in Bath and recommend to anyone coming of a cruise wiith time to spend before flying home.”

“Terrific service. I booked way ahead and was informed in a later email that due to a cycling event in London on my day of departure, traffic might clog the streets. That warning allowed me to plan ahead. I ordered my cab early and was taken to the pickup point in plenty of time. Paul came into the lobby with an electric screen with my first name on it. He must have identified me by the bag next to me, and he identified himself. He loaded me into an immaculate SUV, loaded my bag into the back, and we took off. He picked up a family of five and all headed for Southampton. He took the family to the cruise terminal and then as a courtesy dropped me off at my B&B. Needless to say I will use this service on my return to London from Southampton.”

“I felt very well cared for on my trip to Scotland. Lovely relaxed people with lots of stories and knowledge. I was a solo traveller but I never once felt alone, it was a beautiful group and I had a fantastic time. Great way to see Scotland!”

“The tour was wonderful! We saw everything that we were told we’d see. Tony was an amazing guide. He was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and humorous. We would absolutely do another tour with him!”

“What a great day to the Cotswolds and Blenheim Palace. Loved our tour guide Tony - he could have been a stand up comedian, he was hilarious but also very knowledgable. The small group is the way I like to do it. Would highly recommend - thanks for the wonderful service and experience.”

“Our guide, Ben, was TERRIFIC! Can’t say enough about him. First and foremost, he waited for us at Southampton. He said it was no big deal, they always wait if the ship is delayed. Uncortunately, your online literature says only that the bus will not wait. So, we were in a small panic....until we saw Ben. We thought we were out $200+. Please qualify your “don’t e late” statement on line. Second, Ben has a great sense of humor and thorough knowledge of the history of tour sites. And then there was Paul, the driver of a smaller passenger vehicle who took us into London. Marvelous man who gave us a monitor of London which made sitting in traffic enjoyable. And, since he lives a quarter mile from our hotel (not on your list), he was kind enough to drop us there instead of the original drop-off Point. You two great employees with Ben and Paul!!”

“Simply outstanding from A to Z. A very professionally run organization. Perhaps in future tours stay longer or make a tour just for Salisbury. It’s a fantastic wee town but cathedral is just another tour after a long list of the same from the ship. Then we passed thru the town only to be fascinated but unable to stop. On board umbrellas might also come in handy. Their cheap enough, It would be a nice touch, and make a world of difference. Thanks again for a stress free tour.”

“Our guide Oz was very knowledgeable and despite the poor weather and road closures from a bike race our coach ran on time. We mistakenly left a bag behind and Louise was so helpful locating it and getting it back to us quickly! Great company!”

“Our ship arrived in Southampton on time and identification of driver and other guests was efficient and without delay. Driver friendly. Mini bus clean and comfortable. Drive to London uneventful and not interrupted by running comments. Hotel transfers in good sequence and with appreciated support from the driver with our luggage. We prefer this type of economic transfer to the travel by coach organised by the shipping company. Total experience positive.”

“The pickup process as we exited our ship was the most difficult part. I was looking for the bus and a woman approached me and said that my group should wait in the waiting area for her to come and fetch us. How she knew I was looking for International Friends is beyond me. The commentary on the bus was great. The driver had a good sense of humor. We could not have had a more pleasant time. We had seen Stonehenge before so we opted to not see it again. we just ate lunch. Windsor was VERY crowded and since we did not get tickets we walked around the town and visited the shops. We were dropped at the door of our hotel at exactly the time we were told. I recommend this way of getting to your hotel from your ship. It was painless and we let them fight the traffic.”

“I highly recommend touring with International Friends! The tour to Highclere Castle and the Downton Abbey filming sites was wonderful! Our tour guide, Andrew, couldn't have been better. He shared many great details and looked after us very well. I will definitely go on another tour again!”
