Hi Marcus, You have not received your lamps because the item you have ordred is marked on the web site as a pre order item with a due date of the 7th May.

“At this time it is impossible to go to the shops I usually use so I was very grateful for the quick receipt of the lightbulbs I’d ordered. It was quite hard to see if I was ordering the correct fridge light - which turned out I had got wrong - completely my fault ! You so kindly had sent two of those - the first one I buckled trying to get in ! So hard to see what you are doing ! And when I put the second one in no light came on ! I think it maybe just a bit shorter than the original one. Trying to do this (I am 73) I haven’t done very well ! None of this of course is anything to do with your company - just thought I’d tell you the saga ! I will have to wait for when the shops are back to normal ( ! ) and take the original bulb with me.”

“I found the staff very helpful in identifying alternative led bulbs when the ones I originally ordered were no longer available. Nothing was too much trouble for them even though it was only a small order.”

“Very helpful on the phone and rang through when stock arrived. Delivery was prompt and the lamps seem in good order. The courier - Fedex - gave mixed delivery messages, saying we were out when the driver called, then an hour later the driver turned up having not attempted a delivery before !”

“I've not received the product yet not much more I can say but very poor! Your web site showed stock so I placed the order. You don't have stock so haw can you be perceived as anything but poor. However, if you value the reviews you get that, are negative then you will contact me to discuss further. If you don't contact me why bother having any reviews in the first place as all you want to do is collect stars!”

“An excellent service, product exactly as requested, promptly delivered in secure protective packaging with other product literature enclosed. Clear and precise invoice information was sent by e-mail. I cannot imagine how the performance could be improved and will ensure that any future orders will be channeled to International Lamps. “The lamps I wanted were advertised with free postage and my online order was accepted and payment taken when I placed it. Then I was contacted by International Lamps and asked to either pay a significant additional carriage charge or cancel the order. I chose the latter, continued shopping online and found the same lamps from a different supplier at virtually the same price, but with a carriage charge tat was a fraction of what International Lamps wanted to charge.”

Hi Peter, It is unfortunate that we had to ask for additional carriage. Your item was over 600mm and so unable to be despatched by Royal Mail. This along with your Scottish Highlands post code meant your order incurred extra cost from Fedex. As you check out there is a statement on the page advising our customers of this possible extra cost.
