“Bought my first in CORK, the reason was a Irish sweater is very warm and distinctive in appearance. It lives up to that an more, I ordered a second. Here on EastCoast of Rhode Island it gets cold but now I am good! Looking into a warm hat!”

“Well made, comfortable cardigan. Nice contrasting detail on the sleeves. Excellent packaging...!!! Fit is on the loose side. I originally ordered the medium which was too big (my measurements are 42" chest 33" waist) so for me the small fit was more than adequate. I have purchased a few different colours in this cardigan in a small size. Very helpful and friendly company to deal with. Communication was first rate. I requested a few spare buttons and these were included with my last order. All in all very good to deal with. Thank you.”

I ordered large according to your measurements but returned it for medium which is fine but I find that it is still a bit voluminous around the shoulders. I expect this will soften out with wear. “I purchased the Clover Short Aran Cardigan and was a little disappointed particularly with the ribbed band for the buttonholes and also holding the buttons. The band would need to be reinforced from the back by a stiff tape or some suitable material to give the band some strength and structure. As it is I will not be opening the cardigan and will have to put on and take off over my head as the band is extremely loose knit and in no time with not too much handling is bound to lose its shape entirely. Disappointed as the design and style of this cardigan is first class and at a price of €119.95 Irelands Eye should have gone the extra mile and maybe even charge another €10 for a einforced band.”
