“Jan dils was highly recommend but I was not impressed. We gathered all medical records for them. They called me 1 time in 8 months. I was awarded my disability. I found out myself and called law office. They said was going to notify me. I sure wasted my money on this law firm. You can do more by self than this office does. Never recommend them to anyone for anything.”
“Lived in this area a long time and the employees at Jan's company are not treated fairly and paid poorly for their work. The turnover rate at her office is unreal and it is mainly due to the lack of pay and a high school like work environment from executive staff at that. Some of the executive staff, not necessarily Jan, are creating a toxic work environment as well as putting their work on those under them. Some have actually stolen thousands of Jan's dollars without her knowing by claiming work was done when it wasn't. If you are looking for an attorneys office that is actually trustworthy and reliable, I'd look elsewhere because this place is toxic.”
“I tried to hire them as my disability lawyers. For 2 years they did nothing but pass paperwork between be and the disability office. When I asked them twice to do their jobs and get it movin along so I have an income, they refused saying “they don’t like when people call in to get it moving along. We have to wait.” Which is a lie. They’re lawyers and that is part of their job. When I finally had enough of them doin nothin, I screamed at them and demanded they do their jobs. They fired me as a client because I demanded they do their jobs. Avoid these people. They don’t wanna do anything and want you to do their job for them but they still wanna collect that money.”
“This Law Firm are the absolute worst in following up with return calls ect.. I literally had to advocate on my on behalf due to the firms lack of quality control and due diligence regarding my appeal. I would not recommend this form at all! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!”
“If you want to wait years, with no updates and information, go with this firm. Communication is horrible and you literally don’t know who your case manager is.
So glad we pulled out and are getting help from a firm that takes quicker action.”
“If I could give less than negative reviews for this firm I would. I'm a Veteran who made the mistake of hiring this firm for my disability claim. Now if you want a firm that doesn't update you on a regular basis, gives you erroneous information about your case and just doesn't seem to care. This is the perfect firm for you. If your firm is too busy to let the client know about things going on with their cases, then don't take them on. I am so disappointed. It's sadly ironic. When I last called pleading for help. I knew more about what was going on with my case than they did.”
“If i could give a negative number i would there terrible they do nothing and never have a clue what is going on with your case and have an attitude when u ask questions 5 years on one claim got to va they do the same thing for free dont get ripped off”
“I contacted the firm regarding a Veterans Claim matter. When I received the new client package, via regular, United States Postal Service mail, it contained my complete date of birth, my complete social security number, and address. Everything needed to construct an identity theft. On December 18, 2023, I contacted the firm :304.428.8900, to complain. After being placed on hold for 20 min, I terminated the call. Shortly thereafter, I received a return call from "Beth," who identified herself as a case manager. After I explained my displeasure with having my contact information exposed. The summation of her word salad . . . "it is not illegal," so we can do it. I protested, asking why that information could not be redacted, she responded with, not including the information was impossible, because I gave them my information.”
“They want the client to do their job for them. By going to the Social Security administration and state unemployment offices to retrieve work history.”
“Ihad Jan Dills lawyer firm as my attorney and let me tell you if you want a lawyer that does not work. Then this is the lawyer for you. I had at least three different people who started the case and passed it off on someone else's. I had to do all the work. They only contacted me twice before the hearing and once after. You could never get it contact with anyone over the phone. I knew the result of the hearing before the lawyer. I contacted them by email to notify them of the results and still have not been contacted back. So if you want terrible representation this is definitely the law firm to have.
