“Purchased a GME hand held two way from the Jaycar underwood store. I had issues with the product so phoned GME direct and they were next to useless. Went back to Jaycar and the staff there were wonderful. I have has two good shopping experiences at this store and was happy to pay a little more than a competitor knowing that if I had any issues I could get great service at this store.”
“My husband and I bought a camera for our car from Jaycar New Lynn, we could not fault the amazing service we got, the first girl was out of her depth so asked for help, we left very happy with service and product……. After getting the camera installed found out it wasn’t working probably so back to Jaycar New Lynn and the sales person who served us before when through everything trying to sort our problem out, in the end he gave us a new camera as he was certain we got a faulty one first off …. We really have been so happy with the level of service we have received from Jaycar Newlynn and have now been back 3 more times to make purchases always the same very helpful and very pleasant staff”
“I wish to warn people about Jaycar's Powertech Solar Charge Controllers. There are no warnings that these are what is called Common Positive. If you ground the negative of your solar panel, it will destroy tour expensive deep cycle batteries. Look for a controller which states "Common Negative" if you need to connect the solar panel to the battery negative directly.”
“I went to Jaycar at Blacktown ( Sunnyholt Rd) on Sunday 13/2. I was attended to by a salesperson by the name of Harris whom was 15/10 helpful. Not being an electronics whiz I explained what I wanted to achieve and he helped me out IMMENSELY, never any pressure and even checked some power scoures on my item with a multimeter. “I will never buy from jaycar online again although not entirely there fault they still choose to use a courier company that is completely incompetent.
They used a courier for a switch cover that could have been posted as a letter and it went all over the country back and forth and now 14days after the expected delivery date i have to drive 30mins out of my way to pick it up . ugh!”
“I bought 2 items from Jaycar Springvale road through click & collect. neither of them works. When I tried to return them, I was told I have to wait until after restrictions are lifted. Bunnings let me return a wrong item I purchased via click & collect without any problems a few days earlier. I told them a pair of gloves and leaving the item aside for 2 days should solve the matter. They didn't want to know. I will not attempt to buy anything from them again.”

“Some of the worse customer service I have ever experienced! Placed an order some some products on the 3rd Aug, heard nothing and rang them up on the 23rd Aug. Was told that the order hadn't been sent and that they would do it the next day. Nothing was sent and then I wrote to their customer service asking where my products are and heard nothing back! It's now the 22nd Sept and I rang to ask for a refund and speak to the manager, he was conveniently in a meeting and never phoned back. Its been over 50 days and I still can't get an answer out of them. DO NOT BUY ON-LINE from them. Absolutely terrible service.”

“The customer service of at least one member the sales staff at Jaycar Electronics shop in Osborne Park WA is so poor I would have preferred to give a ZERO star rating. Without going into the details suffice is to say that this persons sales and interpersonal skills was so poor I advise people to shop elsewhere rather than risking being served by the is person. I am not surprised to see that. If Jaycar happens to care about such poor customer service I am happy to be contacted.”
