I would give negative stars if I could. Purchased a sectional just over a year ago. It is the worst quality- purchased the warranty and it’s absolutely worthless they will come up with any reason to not pay a claim.

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROME HERE! I purchased furniture for my home July 1, 2022 and today, Dec 18, 2022 I finally received my item(s). Items that had been scheduled for delivery constantly bad. I may have had 12 deliveries, or more?…all terrible! Items had scratches, chips, scuff marks, waxy-coatings, wobbled, tears and were broken! I sent back items multiple times. The staff is horrible both in warehouse as well as sales supervisors and customer service representatives. They say they treat you like “family” here, if that’s how they treat family, well, I’d rather not have family at all (thank goodness they are not relatives)! I took photos and documented all of the dates, times, staff I spoke to on the phone, drivers, ect. and sent it all to an employee named Debbie in Oct. I was told that she could help me and I never heard back from her as to updates even once! DO NOT SHOP HERE! I heard nothing back from anyone from Oct. 20, 2022 until now. This company does not care about customers, they treat you as though you are unimportant and take your hard earned money. My item(s) took 170 days to arrive. I communicated, tried to anyways, they wont give you any real help, they lie to you over and over stating no supervisor on shift or in meetings…so by sending several emails and by making over 14 phone calls I just became more and more discouraged about Jerome’s. I lost track of all my comminication as it has been 6months since I drove 30 miles and shopped there. I purchased the extended warranty without knowing how cheaply the furniture is made…let’s see if they come through because now my new leather sofa and loveseat are all ready looking and feeling worn out, sagging, ect. I purchased a leather sofa from JCPenny’s 20 yrs ago that looks better and feels better! $5k, what a rip-off!

Do not buy from Jerome's furniture. Paid for extended warrentee and we still have not had our couch repaired. 2 years later. We have even gone into Jerome's where we bought our couch and they are no help. They only give us the name of the warrentee co for us to call. And it goes back and forth.no repairs. Awfull.

Will NEVER buy from Jerome's again. I had been a repeat customer; spending thousands of dollars on various items in the past. NEVER AGAIN. In April I purchased a dining room table and during the "sale" was told it was in stock and would be delivered right away. As I completed checkout, I was told--oops the table is not in stock but would be delivered in 2 weeks, for sure. In anticipation of the delivery, I removed my old table and chairs. Then, no delivery, no phone call, nothing. I have to go online and call repeatedly for updates. The middle of May turns into the end of May turns into the middle of June. Then during one of my regular checks on their website--I finally see it's in stock and ready for delivery. NO ONE CALLED ME. If it weren't for me checking constantly, I would have never known. So I called to scheduled the delivery and told them for future reference, this was not cool. The woman who took the call apologized and said they dropped the ball. So I scheduled delivery for this afternoon. This morning I get a random text with no identifying info saying "your order was damaged and item is now out of stock." I'm like--who is this? They say Jerome's. I tell them to call me or provide a contact name and number. Do they call? HELL NO. Do they reply to the text? HELL NO. So I have to take more time out of my workday to call the main number multiple times to be put on endless hold before the line is disconnected. On the fourth try, after being on hold for 10 minutes, Jen (woman with no last name), from the Torrance store answers. I tell her I'm upset and want to speak to a manager before I just cancel the order. She tells me she just canceled it. I tell her I wanted to speak to a manager FIRST, to which she now states, too late--it's canceled, and oh by the way she is a manager but still has no last name. I ask her if she thinks this is good customer service, and she offers to refund the $149 delivery fee if I want to wait until God knows when they'll actually get around to delivering it! HELL NO, I DON'T WANT TO KEEP EATING WHILE STANDING FOR ETERNITY! Jerome's will never get another penny from me.

DO NOT BUY FROM JEROME’S!!!!! horrible horrible customer service, VERY RUDE! paid cash for some of my furniture and 3 months later NO Furniture arrived. Now all of a sudden,they want to charge me again for what I had already paid for IN CASH! Horrible experience! No longer will the rest of my family buy from you again! can’t believe how dirty they do their “customers”!!! I also noticed they delete all negative reviews from their website, at least we have Yelp and other places people check for reviews! looks Like they will go out of business soon because the amount of horrible reviews that have is unbelievable!

To put it mildly, horrible customer. More accurately customer disservice. Jerome's products are so shoddy they need better customer service but couldn't afford it to correct their many defects.

So to everyone out there that gets sucked in to purchasing an extended warranty don’t do it. Jeromes has been a very nice Store for many of our furniture but beware, not all of the furniture works especially electronic recliners. So I purchased the extended warranty against my wife’s Will and she was completely right. One of my recliners ceased to work and after three weeks a technician for the warranty company came in diagnosed the problem as a broken controller. Since this manufacturer Is in China, we will not get the parts to fix our recliner for three months. We also had a little accident in our brown color sofa which caused some odor and because you cannot see the stain they did not cover cleaning it. We have called Jeromes supervisors and their attitudes are that is not their fault basically we chose that company so we have to deal with it. So far everyone out there do not purchase any warranties or electronica recliners at Jeromes because you are on your own.

This company is horrible very rude does not care about clients The staff never helps you only passes the problem on to another rude employee all we wanted was to get the recliner motor replaced I OR MY FAMILY WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AHAIN BEWARE....

the worst frniture stores ,most the people who works there and customer services are not honest at all , the manger told us he will fix the problem and he will call us within 2 hours now more than 8 days ,and he didn’t even answer my call or update me, Don’t deal with them , you will waste your time and your money ,no frniture comes on time, I advice all my friends to go away from any furnitures from JEROME’s

Over 12weeks since we ordered. We were promised to receive our furniture in 2months. And we are still waiting with no eta on this. We are trapped as we already paid a significant sum in deposit. Customer service is extremely rude and of no help whatsoever. We wish we did some research before we placed the order.

Good afternoon Jeromes customers I’ve seen a few reviews on the Better Business Bureau and I see a lot of customers had the same problem we did with them. We bought the extended warranty when we purchased some of our items and we’ve had very bad customer service. No answers requested managers supervisors to call back. Nothing for them to tell us that our item wasn’t covered.! so tell me, why do we buy the extended warranty to be denied?! I’m hoping that a few of you customers will all reach out and at some point we can file a class action lawsuit against Jeromes furniture for providing very bad second party warranty company, and for Jerome’s not going out of their way to help their customers! Hopefully a great attorney will look at these reviews and reach out to us. Thanks Jeromes you suck!

Horrible, simply horrible from the time I walked into the showroom to the end of the delivery. I believe I knew more about the furniture then the sales ladies. I had to teach the sales staff about their own products, then they sold me an item, they realized they made a mistake and then they sold me the correct item at a higher price. I then complained yo the manager and he seamed like he did not care one bit. The sales person told me all about there great white glove delivery, the delivery guys dropped off the recliner in the middle of the front room and left. I had to move the recliner to the area of the house , plug it in and test it myself. Something the delivery should have done. They gave me a delivery time of 11am to 2pm, they showed up at 830pm. I should have read all the reviews on yelp, the BBB and on their own site. On both sites, they have several 1 star ratings. Sadly, this company is not customer friendly, and will do and say anything to get a sale and there commission. I made these complaints known and no response from upper management.

My Son and girlfriend bought $5000.00 worth of furniture. They were going to deliver the bed and sofa together. Dining table eight weeks out. Yet. It's the first item you see upon store entry. The delivered the bed with a tear in the bed. They also stated that they would call within a week to schedule sofa delivery. Never called until two weeks after. This morning my sofa is being delivered the two delivery people couldn't get the sofa in the elevator. Yet every other furniture company has delivered to this complex. They "tried to go through the stairwell that ample. After four steps they sat down and said they couldn't deliver. This is unacceptable. I will forward this to every account you advertise with ie, Goid Day LA.. In addition to every consumer reporter as well. Furthermore we ordered a Dining table for ourselves at the time. We also received a call stating they were going to deliver our Chairs today two hours ago. They never showed up. They were 10 minutes away when they called. What type of establishment is this?

The worst service i have ever experienced. Two months ago I placed and payed for a bedroom set. I was promised a delivery date and time. when the furniture arrived I was informed that they only had half the order in stock. when they setup the bed the headboard was broken. I have waited 4 weeks for the night stands and was informed they were no longer available. the second time they delivered the headboard was broken again. Know I am waiting for a third delivery and Jerome’s wants to charge a. $518.00 additional delivery fee for their defective furniture. Do not use Jerome’s any money you might save isn’t worth dealing with them

Do not get the warranty. My warranty that I paid for is not being honored. I have over a year left on a warranty that did me absolutely no good. Such a rip off. I didn’t know you could only have one scratch or watermark/heat mark or it would be called accumulation. I will never purchase from Jerome’s again and have told all my friends and family to stay clear.

Purchased numerous pieces of furniture along with protection plan which I never used. Now I have the need to request service and I am grilled with questions of when where and how it happened plus documentation, photos, receipt etc! I will never again set foot on a Jerome's store. Service I received is beyond mediocre!

Purchased a sectional and at the time was sold an additional warranty from a third party that was told would cover accidental pet damage, no questions asked. When I called to file a claim it was immediately denied after first being told a claim was already filed when in fact it wasn’t. When I explained the situation and that we were told no questions asked they said that was on the store. I tried talking to customer service and got no where, in fact they stopped responding to messages I was sending them. I find it very odd that they would sell a warranty and not provide the true details of said warranty. Now I am sitting with a sectional I cannot use because they wanted to upsell and do not want to take responsibility for the actions of their sales staff in providing false information to the customer. Do not buy from them if you are in fear of having pet damage to your furniture ever even though they will tell you different, thanks Jerome’s for my wasted $4000.00

I had a bad experience from Jerome's not following through with agreed upon terms during purchase about 11 years ago and had no intentions of buying from them again. With minimal furniture selections and extreme back order dates from the pandemic I went into a location to consider giving them a second chance 10 years later. I was looking to purchase about $7000 worth of furniture so of course everyone was very nice. The sectional I bought turned out to be a little big so we returned one of the pieces no problem and were assured we could rebuy it later if it was still being sold. It is now a year later and I spoke with an extremely rude salesman named Nate at the El Cajon location who says we have to pay $70 more than the original price for a piece of this couch that he even told me is discontinued so it is just sitting in their warehouse. This company would rather let this single portion of a discontinued sectional collect dust or be thrown out than honor the original price that I told them I would show them in an invoice. I regret ever giving this company a second chance, no matter how much time goes by they will find a way to screw their customers and be unreasonable and greedy about every little thing. I strongly recommend sticking with a company that takes pride in taking care of their customers and this place definitely isn't it.

Don’t bother. They never take responsibility and find justifications to deny your claims and not fix anything. Floor lamp only worked for less than a year and they wouldn’t fix it. Rep said it was under a year warranty but the manager said they don’t have warranty for it. I bought warranty for my sofas. They got stained and Jeromes found a justification so they wouldn’t have to clean them. All orders are backlogged for about 2-3 months. I received a wrong color sofa. Had to wait again until they ordered the right one. Customer service is horrible. The other sofa was damaged.

I ordered my furniture back in March of 2021 they kept telling me that my sofa, love seat and ottoman were in back order but, that it would be delivered by May. They finally delivered my items in July 5th damaged and I was still missing my sofa. My furniture came Damaged, lies about delivery dates, they were suppose to pick up my furniture items today but, the delivery guy (Kevin Mejia) we was too lazy to look for my apartment unit and left. I have requested to take time off from work July 5th and July 12th and both times I was disappointed ☹️ I will never purchase anything from Jerome’s customer service is horrible. I had to dial 9 so, I can speak to a Spanish representative in order for me to be heard.
