“Lo utilizzo come sostitutivo di uno dei pasti principale, da italiano non sono molto avvezzo a questo tipo di alimenti ma la varietà di gusti e la consistenza finale, soprattutto nei prodotti a base di riso, è molto buona; io ci aggiungo sempre un goccio di olio di oliva, per renderlo più pastoso, o un cucchiaino di salsa di soia per aumentare la sapidità; adesso proverò anche altri gusti; è vero che i primi giorni l'intestino ha avuto bisogno di assestarsi, a causa probabilmente dei probiotici, ma l'esperienza assolutamente positiva”

“It serves it's purpose very well as a [small] meal replacement. Many bars of this kind try to add a lot of artificial flavors, often a lot of sugar too, and the feeling you get is that you are eating a sugary snack. The flavor of the Plenny Bars is much more mild and that's exactly what I want out of something that I am mostly eating for the nutrients.”

“I've been away a few years, but I used to order Joylent regulary years back. Recently my lifestyle changed again in a way that I could really use it for breakfast and lunch, and I am pleasantly surprised by how far the recipe has come: it's now really easy on the stomach, fullfilling, plant-based and gives good energy. I love the pistachio and coconut flavours. Please continue refining the recipe based on the latest developments in nutritional sciences.”

“Since 2014 I'm using Jimmy Joy Plenny shake, formerly known as Joylent, on an almost daily basis. Sometimes even twice a day. I like the 'coffee' taste the best. I usually add an extra espresso. I'm 56 year old and feeling great. Also easy when you want to lose some weight. You can just change the amount of calories intake by changing the amount of powder.”

“Taste is very balanced. Not too sweet but not bland. The consistency of the shake will depend on the added water amount. However, the powder will not fully dissolve like a protein poweder does. There will be still a bit of texture which is quite pleasant and makes it not feel like a light watery drink. The normal dosage of 2 scoops in enough to make me feel full. The nutrition content of each shake is great to use it as a single meal replacement. The packaging is very colorfull and fun and the bag is easily sealed. The seal is quite stong and will not open if the bag is turned upside down. I am very pleased with the powdered products.”
