“The taste is good , didn't like the texture. That you shake a lot but still feel powder . Feel a lot like protein powder . Unfortunately not for me.”

“5 star customer service and very convenient product when travelling, busy working etc. Really like that there’s no food waste. My husband finds the texture quite chalky which puts him off. When I mix it with frozen berries or frozen bananas and some oat milk the texture does improve - I don’t particularly mind it. The berry flavour is definitely our favourite, salted caramel not so much.”

“The addition of soy has been a big downgrade in flavour for me and some of the flavours are not the same quality as others, the chocolate is particularly poor and there was a limited edition apple cinnamon that was truly inedible. But it's still much preferable to some alternatives. For my purposes, a number of the powders and bars are perfect additions to my diet but I won't be trying new flavours any more unless they offers samples in future.”

“I ordered the introductory starter box and I must say I was really impressed by the packaging! Everything was very well packed inside and the unboxing journey was really fun. I felt like a kid on Christmas. So far I have only tried the bar and one of the vanilla milkshakes. The taste was a lot better than I thought and the texture was not chalky like a lot of other shakes like this. I like that the consistency is super THICK and it made me feel full as a meal replacement I think it really does the job.”

“Wild berries is very nice with milk ( i mix it to 2 scoops for 800ml of milk. ) Banana is not that good it tastes like porridge with a very very small hint of banana.”

“Great overall - has everything you need, tastes great, mixes well, and you can't beat the price! However... the scoop is huge so the serving size ends up rather giant. Switching from super high priced Kachava, I wonder if I'm missing out on their nice nutritional blends like adaptagens, omega/fiber, super greens/vegg, probiotic, digestive enzymes, etc.... it's a bit tricky to compare the labels in that way, and easy to overlook that it's 10 servings a bag, when you're comparing to most others that are 15 servings, even though they're the same quantity overall - just this one has the huge serving size. I'm not sure it keeps me feeling full as long as others, but it's delish and super satisfying.”

“I don't have time to cook as much as I used to since I had a child. Jimmy Joy helps me have a meal quickly while taking care of the baby. Me and my wife like that it is less sweet than other competitors which makes it less likely that we get tired of it.”

“As a former prolific gym-goer and exercise enthusiast, I've had my fair share of shakes from many different companies. My gym-days behind me, I was looking for something that could replace my meals during a busy workday, especially since I'm just not a meal-prep type. In all honesty, my first impressions on both the Plenny Shake (Chocolate and Caramel Sea) and the Plenny Pot (Satay) were pretty underwhelming. I found the shake to be grainy, sitting in the throat with fibrous bits, and the pot to be relatively bland. The Pot issue was more or less fixed after shaking the bag thoroughly to mix up the pulverised sauce which lay at the bottom. It became much better. Is it the best meal I've had? Definitely not. But it's not supposed to be. It's tasty in its own way, but more importantly it's fast and nutritious. The Shake, I do have to admit, grew on me. Indeed I believe it's an acquired taste, and now I actually do look forward to both flavours. Since its very fibrous, it's not the smoothest shake where everything will dissolve, but then again there are other powders for that. This is a meal replacement in and of itself. I do drink the shakes with milk, though, as I could never have any protein shake with just water. In conclusion: underwhelming at first, especially since my colleague raved about it, but with expectations reset both the shake and the pot have grown on me to the point where I now know I'll be ordering a next batch. Price, convenience and nutrition are Jimmy Joy's strengths. Taste, especially in the Plenny Pot area, can definitely be spiced up (pun intended) more.”

“Ik vond de smaken en structuur eerste instantie helemaal niet lekker gemengd met 300ml water. Toen heb ik de maaltijden gemengd met melk inplaats van water en dat vond ik een wereld van verschil de smaken kwamen meer naar voren en de structuur was een stuk minder meelig dan met water. ik gebruik de maaltijden om in de gaten te houden hoeveel ik eet en hierbij als bonus wat te kunnen afvallen in gewicht. naast de maaltijden probeer ik ook gewoon gezonde snacks en gezond avondeten te eten. In de eerste week ben ik al 1kilo afgevallen.”

But I have to say, having a look at how your prices developed in the last 5 years, it is pretty extreme and that makes me uncertain whether I want to stay a loyal client. Hi Ivan, thank you for your honest feedback and we totally understand. Rest assured we have been making a lot of improvements to our formulas to offer the healthiest meals scientifically possible. Unfortunately there also have been macro economic impacts (post pandemic supply issues, a war on European soil and rising inflation) that forced us to increase our prices in order to stay in business. Hope this clears things up a bit and we of course hope to welcome you again in the future

“1. taste is good, though somehow not as delicious as huel (matter of taste probably) 2. I want glutenfree product. On the website is states that the ingredients are glutenfree (though processed in a space where there COULD be traces of gluten). On the package is stated that it contains gluten... WHAT is the actual truth? Important for me as celiac person. 3. I was interested in the starterskit. If I open that page,.. it is NOT stated what the starterskit exactly contains (you only can figure it somehow out by looking at the right side of the page where you can make certain choices. I think you can improve the customer experience by a lot. 4. low price is really appreciated!”

“I love it a lot. ive been using it for years now and will always keep coming back. It mixes incredibly well without bits and i love the chocolate flavour. Just one issue, it really makes me fart a lot! Not entirely sure why and can be uncomfortable sometimes. I just try not to drink it before I go see friends....”
