“I just bought a bag of coffee and a bag of passionfruit plenny shake, which I already knew and honestly quite like. I also bought two boxes plenny bars, Apfelstrudel and Cherry, which are new flavors to me. These are ok. Cherry was a bit more disappointing, as the flavor is very mild. Apfelstrudel has a weird smell to it, but the flavor is mostly nice. Both can be improved. Also, why did you discontinue the pizza flavor?! Those were the best!”

“Moest even wennen aan de poederige smaak. Gebruik de shake met magere melk of water. Ik maak de ochtend shake een dag van te voren al klaar. Voor in de middag neem ik poeder apart mee naar mijn werk. De vanille is heerlijk , de chocolade raar maar waar poedersmaak. De banaan is ok.”

“(First time testing) the bars I already try 3 flavours and they are good, you can microwave them to eat something a bit hot, the powder and the plenny drink are tasty but you can get Seasick very fast. You need to get used to the flavour. Overall they are ok. After one "meal" I still fell hungry (normally I eat a bit more than the normal people). Normally i go work around 5pm so bring 2 bars and a shaker with 3 scoops. At 6h30pm I eat a bar, 9pm the shaker, and later on +- 00:00 I eat the bar. If I eat less I will be hungry. They are really useful, easy to transport and +- tasty. Delivery as fast and in time.”

“I've been using Jimmy Joy a long time now. Recently purchased the Plenny Pot in a bag (10 portions). Great product, but very difficult to ensure you have enough spices in your 2 scoops. Even after shaking the bag well. This results in some plenny pot meals not tasting great. Would be nice to have a solution for this. Perhaps spices that are separately packaged.”

“So far it's good, the only downside is that the powder doesn't devolve in water very well so the texture is powdery. You end up getting used to it though.”

“Tried the apple cinnamon for the first time. I felt like the cinnamon overpowered the apple taste so I added some all natural apple juice to the mix and now it’s prefect.”

“Super pour manger au travail sans avoir à préparer de gamelle la veille. Super aussi pour les jours où je n'ai pas le temps de manger un vrai plat. Je recommande pour le midi mais aussi au réveil pour éviter d'avoir faim jusqu'à midi. Les nouilles sont néanmoins très décevantes. Goût très farineux pas agréable.”

“This review is submitted before the pricing update which raises all the prices by 12%. In general I think it's a good product, even if a bit pricey. You'll be hard-pressed to find a similar product at a cheaper price, especially if it's completely vegan, which, especially protein, makes it much more expensive. I chose the starter box with shake, bras and drinks. In all categories, I think JJ does good, not perfect. The taste is good. It doesn't taste like a gourmet dessert, but it isn't a bad taste either. I'd say of the three prodcuts I've tested, the bar tastes the worst, but still not bad. The drink however is nice and smooth and tastes good. Again, it doesn't taste like a milkshake, but it tastes good enough. The meals are filling, but not very. It does stave off hunger for a while, but it still doesn't feel like I ate a complete meal. To be fair, I have a fast metabolism and I am working out a lot, so I eat a lot. I think if you're trying to lose weight, then this will be the perfect meal size. It's just enough to make you feel not hungry, but it doesn't make you feel very full. If you're on the go, then the bars or drinks will be perfect for you. Otherwise I would go for the shake, especially if you have a smoothie maker. In that case you can control portion sizes, or add some nuts and cacao nibs. In general JJ offers what it promises. The meals are balanced and provide good nutrition that are hard to find otherwise, especially in one meal that requires nearly zero prep time. If it's not too expensive for you, and you want to save some time cooking or just eat healthier, then this is perfect for you!”

“Well, it's not as great as i had hoped. On its own. The Pots are dull, but if you know your way around a kitchen, they're a small fix away from being borderline great. Saves me 15-30min in prepping a meal from scratch. Straight out the bag, Mushroom Risotto is my fav and is deliciouswhen you hit that perfect water ratio. Creamy Cajun comes second, but really shines with some melted cheese in it or gratinated. The Lentils and Noodles are bitter and sour, and absolutely need a pinch of sugar, honey or some form of sweetener for me to enjoy them. The Shakes are hard to swallow. So far I've tasted Strawberry and Salt Caramel, omg awful, on their own. I started mixing them in my granola or musli yoghurt bowls and that frickin rocks! I ordered the Bars in my upcoming shipment and i suspect that they'll end up in the yoghurt bowl too! Hahah I work in demolition and concrete-cutting, and I need the energy and nutrition to stay on top of it. And the meals do not disappoint me there. And the price of it all is without a doubt worth it as it a lot cheaper than groceries here in Norway! Customer service treated me the right way when contacted, had a hiccup with the Norwegian toll customs, they're just impossible to underestimate. The customs kept my package for 3 weeks or so without contacting me. Can't blame that one on Jimmy Joy, and CS helped and provided me with all the needed documents that customs required to release my package, that already were attached to the package that they held. Single time incident, good time that. So imma keep ordering them Plenny meals, even with the slight price increase. And so should you, if you're like me.”

“I enjoy JJ for Breakfast each morning. Mixing the cold coffee with the coffee flavor is a must fir me. If I have a heavy exercise routine I have a shake as well. Sometime I am short on time and it is my go to Dinner as well. It's one of the few products that satiates me without intestinal pain.”

“The drinks and bars are amazing. I'm very happy. I was not impressed by Pots. Huel's Hot & Savory tastes better. Shakes are OK, but I was expecting the chocolate shake to be sweeter.”

“Jimmy Joy have improved their shakes so much since I was last a customer 5 years ago. They are so smooth and tasty! No need to be worried about grittiness or chemically flavours, and they're filling enough to replace my lunch. And they're ALL vegan now! So glad I came back.”
