I ordered double glazing from St Andrews Home Improvements via N2. After signing up for double glazing I phoned to check progress and was told I had to pay a further £500 plus but could cancel and be reimbursed, which I did. Despite two phone calls and an email to N2 no deposit has been received.

As a Gas Engineer l took on work doing boiler swaps (ZANUSSI CONTRACT ) for JWD via a company called (STERLING BROWN GROUP ) only to still be waiting to be paid after 4 installs and travelling at my own expense, l have lost a lot of money, l would stay clear of this outfit.

My son was employed by Job worth doing,he waited for two weeks fo first pay, third week his pay was paid in to his team mates bank account ,when he phoned the wages office the clerk advised him the manager had told the wages clerk to do this as they had no details for him ???? neither my son or mate were advised of this, his mate was just newly self employed and did not have his Utr sorted so the wages were taxed at 30%,no record for my son or wage slip, they have worked long hours fir 4.5 weeks travelling all over Scotland with very little to show for it.do not employ this company to do your work as they are just a shambles cannot even pay their men in the correct fashion therefore they cannot keep their staff!!

Had patio window fitted by a perth branch based fitters, after the the fit it was a complete shambles. Got some up to check the work, he agreed it was not well fitted with parts missing and badly fitted joints etc. Had to call to arrange a team to fix the problem, they then said they would have to send someone up to check. I told thenm it had already been checked, they said they would check and get back to me. A week later i had to contact them again agreed a day for a team to come up to remedy, which was yesterday 11th may, suprise waited in all day no show. I have phoned several times but i am not getting any answer. The sale person Ryan from aberdeen made it out this company was very good and professional all i can say WHAT a lie to make a sale. Just a note i have been showing my house for sale im affraid your company has not had any good reviews from me.

Had Windows installed by this lot via sister company, St.Andrews Home Improvements in December 2014. They left a shocking mess and have been back a few times to correct faults. It is Nov 2015 and I am waiting for someone to come and fix my bathroom window for the second time. Had to wait 3 weeks for this appointment. Have used 8 days holiday in total waiting for this lot to do their job. It is 4.20pm and I have been waiting in all day. I will never, ever buy another product from this bunch. Service is appalling.

I had French doors installed by JWD - Penecuik - what turned out as a nice doors was destroyed by the MESS left by the builder who prepared the site to fit the doors. To cap it all the so-called Installation manager supported the shortcomings of the builder and allowed them to create a "Dust Storm" which covered my decking and covered the gardens of neighbours 3 doors away!!!! If you value your neighbours do not use this company. I am still fighting the company to pay for the "clean up". Their logo is :A jOB WORTH DOING ======= is worth doing well????

Windows installed 7 weeks ago by friendly efficient fitters. Since then the Regional Manager and Contract Supervisor at the Errol Office in Perthshire, have failed completely to supply a plasterer to finish off the contracted work. They have made no attempt to contact us and all the chasing up has been done by ourselves. The Customer Service is appalling and if you are thinking of using Penicuik Windows to carry out any window replacement we should advise you to think twice about it. H. Sharpe norhar@btinternet.com

Do NOT touch this company with a barge pole! We had windows fitted in May 2014 and the results were horrifying-scratched glass, squint sills, gouges on the UPVC surrounds. Called the out and a full refit had to be done. In the process they made a hole in the plaster in my son's bedroom. After many phone calls chasing the plasterer and reporting more faults we finally had a 2nd refit in May 2015!!! Thankfully a better one that we are happy with. Trying to get compensation for the upset and inconvenience and also for the redecoration of my son's room. What are they offering me? £250!!! Laughable. Horrific, lazy, work shy and incompetent firm with the same type of employees. Use them at your own peril

On the 22nd January this company attended at my home to survey for cavity wall insultation and in drilling survey holes drilled through a tile in my fireplace. Despite repeated calls to them and promises of putting this right, here I am in May with the job not sorted out - extremely poor and amateurish company.

Job Worth Doing installing double glazing next door, parked their vehicle across our drive. When asked to move it as we had a gas leak and needed access, VERY rude and condescending. Employees used our front garden as access and left a mess when they finished; AVOID,

Job Worth Doing - But Get Someone Else. Job Worth Doing fitted new double glazing for me in February 2014 and at today's date 27 November 2014 I am still waiting on them to replace faulty glass. They have been back to my house on at least four different occasions to replace damaged/marked glass. On the majority of these scheduled return visits, it was the installers that brought the damage to my attention - I am not sure if I would have ever noticed some of the damage until it was pointed out. The last time they came back to replace damaged glass in my kitchen unit was late August 2014 and this was their (including the original new glass that they installed in February) third attempt at getting it right. In October with the sun shining on the glass I noticed marks on the inside of the unit but did not call them till November to advise them of this. Job Worth Doing now say that because I did not contact them within 28 days I must now pay for the replacement window. Today (27 November) I was told "If it's something that we (Job Worth Doing) did wrong, then we would come back and replace or fix". However, when I asked if it was my fault that they fitted faulty glass? they said no but referred me to their 28 day policy. Although now two people within their customer services state that "you paid a lot of money and that's not right, we will get that changed". Job Worth Doing insist that I have to pay. I have asked Job Worth Doing for a copy of their 28 day policy that I signed and at the moment I am waiting on their manager to get back to me. I will continue this review in due course but if anyone out there is considering using "Job Worth Doing" I would reconsider.
