My first year was good. I had a great coach, things went smoothly, and I was successful. I joined because it was physician-led and supposedly evidence-based. When I joined, we discussed that GLP-1's are taken indefinitely (what the literature supports). I was excited to join for year two. Unfortunately, things have been fairly disappointing for year two. First, the message changed to "the meds were just a bridge, but it's the intensive lifestyle interventions that really make a difference." There is no data to support this, and clear data to refute this. Second, support has been minimally responsive in year two. I reached out over a month ago because they didn't refill my medications, and am still waiting for resolution. I understand that there are shortages, but I sent them a pharmacy that has it in stock over two weeks ago, and still nothing. It seems that the bulk of the program for year two is a facebook group. This is not useful, and I can't be the only person who wants much less facebook in their life. SO, Two stars instead of one because year one was solid, but year two has been such a disappointment.

The medication is great, when you can get it. Otherwise the other elements are not that impactful.

Support has been very disappointing during my second year of Calibrate. Response time has been very slow which has led to delayed refill of my medication. I feel like for the amount that I’ve paid for the second year, the experience has been very disappointing. The experience of the second year is drastically so much worse than the first year that I regret ever recommending this program to any of my friends and colleagues.

Access to medication is a positive. That being said the program itself leans into the worst stereotypes about fat people and anti-fat bias (fat people eat poorly, fat people don't exercise) and several of the modules are at best condescending in making assumptions about the lives of Calibrate's clients.

They promise you the GLP-1 but so far it took over four months to get approved. You don’t really talk to a doctor but one time. The medicine has strong effects of nausea and heartburn. The modules cover basic info on sleep, food, mindset…but nothing significant you can’t find on the Internet. I think I would have been better off focused on my calories, which I am doing, and getting B12 shots. They oversell you on what you are going to get given the amount of time. Insurance wouldn’t approve anything given I’m not diabetic. If I could I’d ask for my money back.

I happen to notice when i was going through the reviews that they were all posted.at the same.time and from the same location. Does anyone find that odd?

I like the idea of Calibrate but they are still fine tuning things. Responsiveness of the MD team and support team are not great. The android app needs a lot of work. And things seem to be changing in the program while it is in the early stages.

Not happy - besides my scheduled coach meetings there is real no interaction with calibrate . To say it’s a medically supervised program is misleading . A one year program and you meet the dr once ? Not worth the money . I haven’t logged in in a month and no one even notices. No wonder we prepay - no one would stay the year if they had to option to cancel with refund . Disappointed

After your 1:1 video visit with a Calibrate doctor, you’ll also have access to the Medical Team through scheduled, structured check-ins with the Medical Team at the 1-month, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month marks of your year. Your check-ins with the Medical Team—which you’ll submit through a detailed questionnaire in the app (not by video, this time)—will include an in-depth review of your program progress, your medications, any side effects, and any other health updates or questions you may have. After your check-in, you’ll receive a personalized follow-up message from one of the board-certified doctors on the Medical Team. Between check-ins, the Medical Team is always available in the Medical Channel of the app whenever you have a medical question, concern, or update. One of our Calibrate doctors will get back to you with a personalized response within one business day.
