“Love the bag. I walk and carry 4 out of 5 days of the week. Last bag was a sun mountain 3.5, which was great, and a Titleist Linksmaster. The Jones bag is as light and seems to carry 14 clubs with no issues. The strap system works flawlessly. The stand has held up fine so far. With no beverage holder I use the magnetic pocket for holding a water bottle. I’ve added some Velcro to my rangefinder and attached it to the glove attachment which actually makes access easy.
If there was one improvement it would be the magnetic closure is weak. A stronger closure like I’ve seen on Vessels bag would be nice. Otherwise I’m very pleased with the bag.”
“Ordered the Trouper R golf bag recently. Faster than you could re-tee an errant drive, it arrived on my door. Not disappointed at all. Bag looks great; is lightweight; and carries everything I need, short of running away from home (am too old to run anywhere).
As with other reviewers, the strap system takes a bit of getting-used-to, but once adjusted it works fine, and is easy to carry using one strap or two.
Weather's warming in Alberta now, so am keen to get out and walk the walk.

“Awesome bag - style and construction are excatly what I was looking for. Jone bags are legit and this one in partcular is super light and the strap configuration gives a great option for 2 starps or 1 for a caddie. There were, however, 2 features that I would like to see on a walking stand bag. 1. A marker sleeve. Most carry bags have a sleeve for your sharpie. 2. Dedicated water bottle holder. The bag has a big cooler pouch which I am using for balls. When walking and carrying, I would like to have a sleeve for my water bottle that is easily accessable. The big pocket is not easy to get to when double strapped.”
