“My partner ordered take out food 1 hour and a half prior to when it was scheduled to arrive, he ordered it especially for that time becuase I am working nights and only have a 30 minute lunch window. The food was late so I called to cancel and was told to contact Just Eat for a refund, so we attempted to call the customer service number is a range of automated messages with no actual person available to talk to, the chat function it is literally like talking to a robot, my partner called up the restaurant as they marked the order as delivered and becuase of that Just Eat said they need to investigate and thst it will take up to 48 hours, I mean is that a joke, I literally went around in circles and there is no actual human to talk to, I wanted to flag a complaint and was told to give feedback via the app, I suppose that is acceptable when stealing money.”

“Hair in my food, complaint handler named Mikhael was nothing short of a joke. Disgusting service, even though I made it clear I wasn't looking for a refund, my complaint wasn't taken seriously. I couldn't have received worse service.”

“Today a delivery driver picked up my McDonalds delivery. Then tried to deliver my food to me loose in the bottom of his bag swimming in coffee. I obviously refused the gross inedible mess 🤮. Just Eat refuse to refund. Avoid this thieving excuse for a business. Trading standards should shut them down! 🤬🤬🤬”

“Our food never arrived, on the map it said the driver had lost signal and was all the way over the other side of Ipswich. Almost £100’s worth of food we were waiting for and never got it. Thankfully we got a refund in the end but not really the point. The restaurant themselves were helpfully but couldn’t do much after it had left them.”

“Horrible. my food never delivered to me. I was refused refund because the restaurant said they delivered food. God knows where they delivered. absurd logic. very unhappy. will never use just eat . i recommend that don't use Just eat as they can do what they like.”

“Absolutely disgusting, it takes over 3 hours to deliver from a place thats only 15 min away from my home. And their customer service is non existence. You wait on call for over 40 min and stops ringing or you can chat to a bot which is absolutely ridiculous 🙄 so basically if you want a shitty service and no food and have your money stolen by all means go ahead and order from just eats and enjoy.”

“We ordered a meal from McDonalds in Newquay. The driver never delivered the food, but it was marked as “delivered” on the app. JustEat said the food was delivered, even though it wasn’t. JustEat is a thieving company that doesn’t deliver on services purchased. Avoid JustEat!”

“I ordered a delivery from McDonald's and when it arrived is was missing an item. I called the restaurant and they could see the missing item and apologise. They then told me there was nothing they could do about it and to call Just Eat, not great customer service I must say. I called just eat to be told they can not re deliver it and I can not get a refund!! They would only put the credit on to my just eat account! This is shocking, to my knowledge it does not state anywhere that if items are missing they will only credit your account and not issue a refund. So, not only did I not get any food Just Eat have also kept my money!! 😡😡”

“I ordered a delivery of fish and chips, the store is about 20 mins away, it took the driver over an hour to get food to me, so the food was cold instead of the ice cream which was warm. I complained, they said that I had credit, so I ordered an other meal thinking they would take the money owed off the next bill but no. So never got a refund or credits as they call it. NEVER GOING TO USE THEM AGAIN.”

“Horrible experience like most of the people here. The driver stole my food and it said delivered. I was waiting outside and nobody came ! I’ve contact them and they replayed .. it’s been delivered no further action will be taken. I delete the app and All my friends did the same. Shame ! They stole my money and my food!”
