“Awful experience, do not use!!!! Everything I order comes to me wrong!! Clowns!!”

“This company is a disgrace. Second time with order issues. Order placed for Mc'd breakfast at 9.50, update confirmed driver would arrive by 10.21. Telephoned mc'd, delivery driver had not turned up even though order was accepted. Contacted mc'd again at 10.55, driver still not arrived. Breakfast's finish at 11am. Made the decision to take the kids for breakfast. Text message from driver at 11.20 to say outside house and trying deliver food. Will never be using this company again. Refund requested.”

“Thoroughly disappointing experience. Only half of order delivered, Just Eat not apologetic or willing to help resolve the issue. After much discussion I was merely offered credit rather than a refund. As I won’t be using them again this is pointless to me. CS advisor unhelpful and spoke over me the whole time.”

“AVOID AVOID unless you like your door freezing Cold. Ordering was easy but waiting for delivery took forever then when it got here it was freezing Cold, Customer service Well they are just a joke and should be on a stage dressed as clowns. I will never use just-S**T again”

“Don't order from this company! there is no negative star option otherwise I will give it. Placed an order and then the driver disappeared from the tracking screen. Called them and they said "it has been delivered" - I was sitting hungry wasted two hours of my life I can never get back. You better off get your food from Uber Eat - they get it done with details. Just Eat my axx.”

“DO NOT ORDER FROM JUST EAT. Placed and order for 3 meals on the 12/09/20 .told it takes 48hrs to investigate that was a week ago .how to throw your money away and then be ignored”

“Food ordered, waited 1 and a half hours. Driver was in the same spot on the map for ages then it said lost contact with driver but your food will be with you soon. The delivery driver didn't turn up, so we went to KFC shop at 9.15pm which was already close just workers cleaning up. Just eat said shop is open til 10pm.We spoke to the workers who said they sent out our order ages ago and to get in contact with just eat. 4 days have past.,4 phone calls to just eat and nothing seems to be being done, investigation team said the we will be receiving an email which we haven't received. My wife will be pursuing this as far as she can because just eat customer service is the worst we have ever come across.”

“Bought a £30 gift voucher from just eat online for a friend to receive by email. They didn’t receive it but the money was taken out if my account. Just Eat can’t explain what has happened and will not refund me, even after numerous phone calls. Absolutely terrible terrible customer service. Will never use again.”

“Had made an order, it wasn’t delivered at all. Due to me being unable to call the same night (family emergency) I made a complaint to Just Eat and called the restaurant the next day. Restaurant lied about attempting to deliver twice (they did not) said they had called me multiple times (my call logs prove they didn’t) they even told me that they mark undelivered food as delivered so they do not get a “bad mark” against them. Just Eat “investigated” and said the restaurant wouldn’t give a refund. In the email the restaurant said they had delivered! They hadn’t! I complained again giving them all the information and again they “investigated” and came back with the same result. So Just Eat have basically called me a liar and the restaurant lied, keeping my money. £30 out of pocket, thanks Just Eat.”

“What a disgusting company that’s all I can say made an order this morning one hour later no delivery no contact the driver lied and said he tried to deliver when we stood outside the door and waited for them no calls at all and finally we found out they returned to the restaurant And the food was thrown away I have been charged the full amount straight away out of my account after contacting just eat they said only a 50% discount but 50% of what nothing we didn’t get the order So basically they take your money and you get nothing in return how disgusting is that delete delete the app go with another delivery company do not order from them they will take your money and you do not get the service”

“My order was delivered to the wrong address and I have had no replacement no refund no apology no contact from them at all in three weeks. I have tried to contact them directly and I’ve had a live chat with them three times and been told I will hear from them in 48 hours and still nothing. Horrible service! Use Uber eats much better!”

“No delivery no refund.. they claimed that is delivered but on the app still can see it’s with driver.. they will do investigation so convenient and how to proof that I didn’t receive my order I wonder?? They should be not allowed to accept card payment .. such a fraud”

“A shambles. This is a company that do not care one bit about their customers, they want money, and if anything goes wrong it is almost impossible to get the issue solved. Their customer support are robots with no authority to solve issues. I complained and was promised call within 24 hours, this did not happen, but when I went on to live chat, they told me they had tried to contact me twice today by phone, this simply was not true. I demanded a call and got a call 15 minutes later, again from someone with no authority to resolve the dispute. Unbelievably, no matter who badly things go wrong, how much time is wasted, and no matter if you end up with no food at all, they are only authorised to give £5 in compensation. £5!!! What an insult. It all began when I ordered dinner for myself and my partner. All was going well, I check the order progress and it said the food was cooked and they were just waiting on a delivery driver, who had been notified. 40 minutes later I get a message telling me my order has been cancelled and I will get a refund. By now it is too late to sot anything else out to eat. They stated that the order was cancelled because the restaurant did not have the food to fulfil my order... well how on earth was it cooked and ready to pick up then? 1st Lie Then I get a call from just eat, telling me my order had been cancelled. I have by now already discovered that the order was cancelled, so i was already fuming when they called. I wanted to be compensated, because I was now left with no dinner, and a period of days without my own money because of the refund processing time. I was told that they could not offer compensation, but after making it very clear that was not good enough, they offered me £5, which I told them what they could do with. She then hung up on me. I'm not one to let these things go, so I complained and was promised a call back within 24 hours. This did not happen, and then they had the audacity to tell me they had tried to call twice today, they had not. Lie 2. There are many clear indicators that this company to not care one bit about their company... 1. There is no phone number in their contact section on the website 2. Even their love chat is a robot. You can bypass this by typing 'I want to speak to a human' 3. When you do get through to customer services, it is in India. Nothing wrong with that in principle, but these people may as well be robots because you get canned reply after canned reply, and they have no ability or authority to resolve any compaint. 4. Try speaking to them on facebook, thats the best one, it is a bot, and not a good one, noone reads the messages on facebook. They are cost cutting at the expense of customer service and it really shows. I know this service is convenient, but as soon as it goes wrong, believe me, that convenience goes right out of the window. Support your local take away by ordering direct, you will still get the same services, same delivery driver, and your local take away will not have to pay a cut to this awful company. Plus in my experience delivery charges are much lower if you order direct.”
