“My experience with JustPark service has been highly disappointing, both in terms of the app's functionality and the quality of customer support.
The app is not reliable—it does not properly verify parking locations or ensure the information provided by parking space owners is accurate. I booked a parking spot and followed the directions given in the app, which led me to a location where I parked my car. Later, I received a vague SMS from an unverified number with additional instructions, which I initially overlooked due to the informal nature of the message.
Upon checking, I responded to clarify the location and was told via SMS that parking in the spot where I had parked was acceptable, as long as I removed the car before 5:00 PM—even though my booking was valid until 6:00 PM. I returned before 5:00 PM, only to find that I had received a parking ticket.
When I contacted the person who had confirmed the parking location earlier, she abruptly ended the call and subsequently ignored further attempts to reach her. I then contacted JustPark support with all relevant evidence, including the chat where I was assured that the parking location was valid. However, I was told I had parked incorrectly and no support could be offered.
I requested a refund and received an automated email promising a response within five business days. After hearing nothing, I followed up after six days, only to be told that the parking space owner declined the refund—and that nothing further could be done.
This has been a frustrating and unacceptable experience. The service lacks accountability, proper verification processes, and responsive support. Based on this, I strongly advise others to avoid using this platform.”
“***BEWARE*** Albany Villas in Brighton cancelled my order at the last minute as they said it was not available and then re-listed the space for more than double the price! JustPark do not control this bad behaviour and have not even responded to my complaint.”
“Technical glitch with App and automated phone line. Couldn't pay for 4 hours parking 13:14 - 17:14 as App kept automatically adding £1 for overnight parking (after 16:30). Thought an email to customer service would sort the issue, how wrong I was. First and last time user, I'll keep change in my car from now on.”
“Couldn't contact space owner (no response) even though I'd paid JustPark £95. Had to pay to park somewhere else. When I eventually was able to contact them (difficult - no phone numbers on site), they demanded I provide screen shots of my phone calls trying to contact the owner before they'd refund me!!!! Thieves”
