I purchased a Cora dining set online. After 7 months I noticed the finish was flaking off and the table was twisting. I contacted Kettler and asked how to treat the table and chairs and they advised me that no products were needed, but the table top has twisted and will send a replacement. So far I have had 3 replacement table tops and 4 replacement chairs! The new table top which is 6 months old is falling apart, I have contacted Kettler and now they are saying I have to treat my table and chairs every six months, which is completely different to what I had previously been advised. I’m my experience Kettler are selling poor quality products at premium prices. I would advise against purchasing from Kettler.

Good afternoon John Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I’m genuinely sorry to read about your experience and the frustration this has clearly caused you. All of our outdoor wooden furniture, including the Cora range, is supplied with clear care and maintenance guidance. As with any outdoor wooden product, ongoing maintenance is essential due to constant exposure to the elements. Without appropriate care, natural weathering can occur, including movement, warping and changes to the surface finish. We do offer a dedicated range of care and treatment products that are specifically designed to protect and prolong the life of our wooden furniture, and these are recommended as part of regular upkeep. Where these products are not used, deterioration over time is unfortunately unavoidable and not indicative of poor-quality materials, but rather the natural behaviour of wood outdoors. I am sorry if there was any confusion previously regarding care advice provided, and I appreciate how conflicting information would be disappointing. Our intention is always to support customers in getting the best possible lifespan from their furniture. We ordered the Freeport 6 seater dining set in August. When it arrived only 4 of the chairs were able to be assembled, the other 2 were faulty. Over the past 2 months we have had 4 more deliveries of replacement chairs/parts and each has been faulty in some way. We now have the issue rectified, but it should not take 2 months and 14 chairs to get 6 chairs that are not damaged. I would not purchase a Kettler product again, and would actively discourage others from using this company.

We purchased an egg chair April '24. We therefore purchased the Kettler cover last Summer to get us through the winter period. We put the cover on the other week to discover two holes where the top of the egg chair has pushed through. Totally ruined and not waterproof anymore. Clearly a manufacturing fault. At £90 a cover, we cannot purchase one per year! That's 9% of the chair cost each year for a cover. I emailed Kettler and their response 'Our covers are only covered under the warranty for 12 months so your cover would be out of warranty, as the chair is now discontinued the cover is also'. They did recommend where I could buy another cover though. Yay for me!

I purchased a Kettler Menos balcony half parasol and the accompanying balcony parasol base 20kg. The parasol is super tall, taller than any other I have ever had. The base, whilst heavy to move, does not adequately support the parasol. It tips over with barely a light breeze, rendering it useless. I have emailed Kettler to try and get some help with this but two weeks later they have not replied. Terrible service.

Product arrived without pre-drilled holes to assemble chairs. Tried to get replacement but between poor customer service communication and delivery issues i have given up. Almost 4 weeks trying to arrange. Painful overall experience.

I bought a side table to fit with my Kettler furniture. It arrived in sections with a pack of screws and bolts. At 83 years 8months old with physical problems I don't believe I should be expected to complete Kettler's manufacturing process. I'm trying to return it.

Tried to order 13 replacement cushions after several emails asking me same questions I finally get confirmation of cost and delivery date of 7 weeks from today 16 may. Obviously they have no stock. Ordered cancelled

After making an enquiry and sending a photograph, I was advised to buy a certain type of foot caps. My order arrived today, and they are much too small. It is very irritating that you have wasted my time, after I took the trouble to ask for specific advice. Returning for a refund.

I would not recommend buying the Elba dining set. The table surface does not last, the paint flakes terribly. The warranty from Kettler is not worth the paper it’s written on, they are not interested. I wish I had read other reviews before we bought it, so many people have had the same issue. Kettler’s answer is they recommend 3 different products of theirs to buy to correct the issue. Wood needs maintenance, we all know that, but having protected the table under a breathable cover & it being just one year old, I wouldn’t expect it to be in the state it is. I would recommend looking at other brands & checking reviews, don’t waste your money or time on Kettler.

Absolutely dreadful service, the over still hasn't been delivered. Very poor reply time on emails. Just telling me lies such as my address doesn't exist! I only ordered this expensive cover as it said on the website it would be delivered in 2-3 days!! Still no news.

I have had the covers for nearly four years and it’s rotted gone powdery and ripped a lot of money for a short period I am disappointed as it’s not cheap for covers

Unfortunately they could not deliver my order for a bottle of hardwood grey colour protector to care for my Kettler Elba dining table and chairs without charging £35 for carriage to Northern Ireland. I cannot find it in stock in any of their dealers so am not sure how they expect me to care for the furniture.

The charge is due to the size of the liquid bottle, as it needs to be shipped safely to you in compliance with courier regulations. I always believed Kettler to be a high quality brand which is why they were my preferred choice when searching for my new garden furniture, I ended up being proved wrong and was left extremely disappointed. The furniture didn’t even last a year, the table turned green and started to fall apart. After some tooing and frowing the table had been exchanged but I am left with a bench that now doesn’t match and 5 chairs which will have new arms (when they eventually arrive) Really not what I expected when I spent £1,400.00 on a set of garden furniture.

However, from the images you’ve shared, it’s evident that the benches and chairs have not been cleaned or treated in any way, which is expected for any outdoor wooden furniture. The green appearance is due to environmental debris and algae build-up, not a manufacturing defect. If the table, bench and chairs were cleaned following the care and maintenance instructions provided, we’re confident you would see really surprising results. As such, we feel that a 1-star rating is quite unfair, as this is a maintenance issue rather than a fault with the product itself. We’d be happy to offer guidance on the best way to care for your furniture to restore it to its best condition. I have not received the paint as promised on 11/2/25 so am still waiting . Have heard nothing from yourselves about delivery. An update would be appreciated, so am definitely not impressed at the moment.
