“DO NOT PURCHASE THESE: HORRIBLE QUALITY
I spent 300 on these boots and the leather scratched off in some places on the second day I wore them. On the fifth time I wore them the whole heel popped off. Terrible quality, horrible customer service. I reached out to them the week after this happened (within 30 days of purchasing) and they refused to reimburse me. Horrible quality, don’t waste your money. If I could give 0 stars I would”
“I have been a loyal customer to L’intervalle for several years and unfortunately, their customer support was a complete let down with a technical issue with their shoe.
After walking for about 15 minutes, the insole lifts under my toes on both sides.
They offered to get them repaired but with several weeks of wait time. When we purchase brand new shoes, they’re to wear now, not several weeks later. I offered to get them repaired myself and they refused.
After several exchanges via email and 2 visits to their store, they finally made an exception to exchange the shoes for another model.
I wanted a refund but they forced an exchange.
I will never purchase from them again. This was a stressful situation that took a lot of my time for a manufacturing problem from their end.”
“I have been a loyal customer of L'intervalle for many years, investing thousands of $$ in their products. However, my experience over the years has been disappointing. The quality of their products is highly inconsistent, with shoes often falling apart after minimal use or even breaking upon first wear. Despite these issues, I continued to support the brand because I loved their styles.
Unfortunately, a recent incident has led me to reconsider my loyalty. I placed an order over a month and a half ago and it has yet to be fully fulfilled. Despite contacting their customer service for an explanation, I received little information/reason for the delay. At this point, it is evident that I won't be receiving the full order and I'll have to take the initiative to cancel it and request a refund since the company failed to provide me with further updates regarding this order. After several interactions with customer service, it has become clear that this company does not prioritize customer satisfaction. Lastly, their return policy is subpar and unforgiving.
As a longtime customer of L'intervalle, I am deeply disappointed by their lack of accountability and poor service. I will not be shopping here again.”
“I ordered three pairs of shoes and received one pair after two weeks, the 2nd pair after three weeks and never received the 3rd pair. I finally contacted them on the missing third pair and asked for a refund. Though they did do so, I felt the service was horrible. No ‘sorry’ on the delay at all. This was my first time ordering from them and definitely Italy the last time. I could not fathom how they continue to have sales without fulfilling previous orders.”
“Company refused to deal with these clearly defective shoes even at a head office level. The soles on both cracked across the entire shoe and was falling off the shoe completely. Fully branded. Tips show little wear. Conveniently all my customer information doesn't exist. Don't waste your money.”
“Terrible customer service. I bought a $250 pair of boots from L'intervalle. I was so excited to wear them for the first time! (I have owned a few different shoes from them in the past and they have always been great quality). I wore my brand new boots for the first time, and within an hour, they received a chip on the toe. As per their website, they pride themselves on creating boots that go against fast fashion, and that are "made of outstanding durable quality". Let me tell you, the Zara and H&M boots I have purchased in the past did not chip after wearing them for less than an hour. After contacting customer service regarding this issue, they refused to do an exchange for me, or even hear me out about my displeasure in the product I received because the boots had been "worn" and it wasn't a "manufacturing issue". I will never purchase another product from them again - these boots were definitely not worth the $250 price tag, I wouldn't even pay $50 for them. I will be telling all friends and family not to purchase from this company again.
Very sad as I love supporting Canadian companies, and do my best to shop local. Very disappointed in the way they treat their customers.”
“I had a very bad experience with this brand/shop. I bought sandals from the St Catherine Street store, in Montreal, at the beginning of the summer. I wore them once only, to go to the local supermarket - walking distance. The sandals were OK. Then I left town for many weeks, went to a colder weather place, where I did not need to wear these city sandals. When I came back to MTL and put on the sandals again - the right one was making a clicking noise, coming somehow from the sole, whenever I step on. It's was loud and noticeable. After writing to customer service, they asked me to send photos and videos(sound), so that their experts can analyze the problem. Eventually they came back to me to say that they were sorry for the inconvenience but since the complaint came over the allowed time for reclamation (1 month), they could not do anything. This is ridiculous of course as when I first wore the shoes for 20 min (within the reclamation time period), they were OK. Clearly, their experts agreed that there was a problem but they said they could only offer me $50 for the inconvenience.
So the deal is - I have paid $170, for which I get sandals that I can never wear, unless I want everyone on the street to look at me when I walk, and a 'refund' of $50. What L'Intervalle gets is - selling off a defective product and making a profit of $120. Great deal! Well, even better for them - when I heard their decision, I explained that it was not fair and I was not happy with it. Guess what - I never got the $50 either. I suppose, there is an ego issue here, too.
I do not recommend this store/brand, unless you are ready to be disappointed. The products are low quality, so the probability to get unlucky, too, is very high.”
“I went in the store to look for a very specific type of shoe. The salespeople were amazing but didn't have my choice. She ordered what I needed online. They are beautiful.”
“Service Nul j ai commander online je n ai pas reçu la commande … il y’a personne que me répond 😡😡 I ask for the phone number so we can talk to them because I I cannot write et voilà la réponse ..
Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas de numéro de téléphone pour le service clientèle, seulement cette correspondance par e-mail.”
“The worst quality and service ever.
I bought my boots at the end of December, wore my shoes in the mall for 10-15 minutes (so it's impossible to recognize that it was wore) and both my feet start blooding. My tights and socks have blood as well, just after 15 minutes! And I cannot wear any shoes and go outside for 3 days. It was too painful!. I have all pictures and videos with proofs. I took this shoes to the store of purchase and they said and say said that it will be refunded for 100% and gave me email address. I tried to reach L'intervalle 3 times by email and Instagram. And they NEVER answer.
NEVER BACK TO L'intervalle . They don't care abot quality and consumers. WORST SHOES EVER!!!”
