“Label Planet's products are great. And if I order small quantities they come quickly. If I order large quantities of the same labels they take much longer. I understand this for labels only available in large quantities/ special orders but it's frustrating for ones where they are available quickly in smaller quantities. Seems like I'm being penalised for buying more. If this was sorted out my review would be a five.”

Thank you for leaving us a review. Unfortunately, we are not able to keep stock all of our sizes in all of our materials. We have therefore selected our most popular sizes to ensure that all of these products are available in all of our materials in 25 sheet packs ready for same day despatch from stock. This does mean that non-stocked items have to be made to order; in order to pass on great value prices to our customers, we need to set a minimum order quantity. Given that we supply so many size and material combinations, it takes about five days to cycle through each product that we supply - this means that, depending on when you place your order in this cycle, it can take up to five working days for despatch (although standard paper products despatch much sooner). While we do our best to ensure that products are despatched as quickly as possible, we do advise customers that they do need to order earlier if they wish to order larger quantities of stocked items or made to order items. We also operate a price break system, which does mean that customers who order larger quantities get access to much better prices per unit. Kind regards, The Label Planet Team

Thank you for leaving us a review. We are glad to hear you are pleased with your labels but sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the delivery service. Your order was despatched on the next working day after it was placed and was delivered by Royal Mail's first class service within five working days of despatch. Usually, we advise that the majority of first class mail arrives next day but can take up to five working days to arrive. At the moment, there are some delays with the Royal Mail service due to the coronavirus pandemic so items may take up to seven working days. If you need to receive your order urgently, we do offer a next day delivery option. At the moment, Royal Mail are not guaranteeing that items will be delivered by 1pm but are aiming to ensure all next day items do arrive on the next working day. Kind regards, Label Planet

“The labels are fine, easy to peel off and easy to fit accurately on the DVD. However, the template is very poor. It's difficult to control the placing of pictures and text and I can't achieve the result I want. I used to use CD-Label Print to print onto printable disc but the discs are so old that to print quality is bad. I could adjust text and pictures very easily even bending them into diffent shapes to fit onto the disc. I thought I might be able to copy the layout onto your template but no luck. I ended up building a a very simple layout on your template and even that would not allow the final adjustments of positioning that I wanted to do. Ho hum.”

We are sorry to hear that you had some difficulties designing and printing your labels. We offer Word & PDF templates for our customers to use as these templates are compatible with a wide range of software and should allow as many of our customers as possible to access a template that works with software that they already have and are familiar with using. However, they are unlikely to offer the same level of precision as the software you used to use (CD Label Print), which is software designed specifically for the purpose of designing and printing (CD) labels. There is a variety of label design software (including CD label design) available - some freeware and some paid for. You may find that there is a suitable replacements, which you could use in future. “Can't fault the delivery as the labels arrived the next day. Where I was dissapointed was the lack of product images on the website. I feel if there were multiple images I would have been better informed e.g. showing the product in use or the reverse of the sticker paper, side by side comparisons. What I purchased was very good but not really what I needed. I'm aware you can order samples but if you need sticker sheet in a hurry this really isn't an option.”

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to represent products such as labels accurately in the form of product images. Even photographic product images are unable to adequately show the colour and texture of our materials in the same way that actually seeing the product does. This is why we offer our free sample service - so that customers can hold a sample of our labels in their hands and decide if they are suitable for their application. “The labels arrived very quickly. Unfortunately as there was no picture of the product on the order page, and nothing in the description about the look of the page, I didn't realise they have a distinctive line through them, rather than being plain brown. If I had known they were striped I would not have ordered them. You need a photo of them on the site.”

Unfortunately, at the moment we do not have product images on our website, although this is something that is currently under review as we agree that it would be helpful to have better product images than those currently in use. However, we do our best to provide descriptive product information on both our range pages and individual product pages, which describe our BRK (Kraft labels) as being made with "unbleached, uncoated Kraft paper (to retain a natural brown colouring)...[and] a ribbed finish, which adds a subtle touch of pattern and texture." We also supply a free sample service so that customers can see for themselves what our materials look like to ensure that they are suitable for their needs. “None of your templates worked for the 40 label sheets I bought Had to go to the printers in the end so that totally defeated the object of saving money by doing it myself !! I put the template onto my iPhone 7 then put it onto a Mac ...”

We were sorry to hear that you struggled with our templates; our Customer Service Team provided one to one support to try to resolve the issues you were experiencing but were unable to assist further once you confirmed that the software you were using was not capable of editing our templates. We supply Word and PDF templates for all of our customers to use free of charge. All of these templates have been fully tested to ensure that they will work with our labels. We despatch all orders for smaller quantities of labels, received before 4pm, on the day the order is placed. They go out by first class Royal Mail which is very reliable, but doesn't give a guaranteed delivery date, so sometimes deliveries take a little longer than hoped for. If an order is urgent we recommend customers choose the "Special Delivery" option to guarantee next day delivery.

We have double checked our system and your labels were despatched on Friday (20th) for delivery today (23rd); you ordered 500 sheets of LP12/64R DF labels, which are a made to order item - as stated on our website, these labels do take five working days for despatch with delivery via next working day carrier. This is because all of our labels are made on a rotational basis - with each size (and its various materials) scheduled one after the other - taking around five days to work through all of the size and material combinations that are currently available. “As I was struggling to find labels on our new Computer, lost the old ones, I bought a plain sheet of A4 Adhesive labels, good idea for Christmas Cards but not easy to peal off once you have cut them, better to, peal them first then cut them.”

We offer over 100 sizes that should hopefully allow anyone to find a size that is useful for them but we know that sometimes using an A4 sheet and cutting it to size is the best option for some of our customers. We do supply an A4 label size that has a Jetcrack backing; this means that the backing sheet is scored into narrow strips so that, if you are cutting the sheet down into smaller shapes and sizes, there is still a split in the backing sheet to help you when you need to peel off the backing sheet. “The labels I bought were ideal for using an inkjet printer to print, and for that they were perfect. They were pretty poor at sticking onto anything without leaving bubbles, I ended up having to rub the labels with a ruler for 10 minutes to get them to stick flat and without an almost snakeskin texture. It's unlikely I would buy them again, I will probably try and find some elsewhere that stick on better straight away.”
