“Can't believe I've just paid £59.85 for: a poor quality map showing a red box - can get much better results off google and it's free and in colour - and a two page document with minimal information - which only went on to two pages because of the large font. I think people should be warned about how little they will get for their money!”
“Very quick response, and communication even over the weekend which was good. Unfortunately only one document received so at least two missing (that I can tell), which is pretty poor for the nearly £100 I have paid. Now I have to raise a ticket, reconfirming all the details and hope that this time I get more....”
“I thought that the cost was way too high for very little info. I sent a follow up email asking how to get the info I needed and have not received a response.”
“Material is not up to date. Other countries record data within 30 days as it is essential for the most expensive transactions of citizens’ lives. The UK purchase journey is completed before even seeing if there are documents available, so user is forced to buy nothing and later beg for refund.”
“I was pleased with the first documents i purchased and was informed there was further documents at a price of 44 pounds and was dissapointed to get a map of the area .I felt this was false info for the price charged.Hence my score.”
Unfortunately we are unable to comment on the content of the documentation. We send you what is available for the property/land requested.
If you wish to update or correct the register, please find details on how to do this here -> https://www.gov.uk/registering-land-or-property-with-land-registry/update-or-correct-the-register
“For charges exceeding £100 I expected much more information, relating to my property, than received.
I am particularly interested in details relating to boundary ownership and information with regard to extension planning permissions. I am staggered you think the provision of 6/7 A4 copies warrants the fees paid which gives me very little history of my property, and no information relating to ownership details and valuations.

“Poor as the information requested has not been sent incorrect details provided. I have sent an e mail to you today in the hope of getting this issue corrected”
“Deeds were difficult to understand and when I asked for more details was advised to contact the official land registry site I hadn't realised I had not used the official site very disappointed”

“I had a really informative letter from Land Registrry regarding the shared responsibility of fencing between neighbours. That said, I paid the asking price for a copy of the relevant documents after being advised that that was where I would find the information I needed regarding who was responsible for repair and maintenance. The letter I received explained that this was not provided. Given that I added to the notes the reason that I was buying a copy of the document, I feel that I should have been advised before purchase, that I would not find the information I was looking for. I cannot afford to waste money unnecessarily and am very upset about this.”
“The service was great but I didn’t realise it wasn’t the official .gov website. I could have got the same info for £7.00 so I feel ripped off and stupid”
