Please note that there is a key difference between the the cheaper documents available and the documentation we provide. At the time of writing, as a general member of the public you are only able obtain a non-certified copy of the deeds directly with Gov.uk. In order to access certified, official copies, you are able to obtain these directly via post with Gov.uk, or via a 3rd party, such as ourselves.
The key difference between the 2 documents is that the certified copies are treated as evidence of ownership in court and in property transactions (e.g., buying/selling a house).

“The plans I received were over 40 years and didn't even show the houses adjoining my boundaries. There must be newer versions showing the adjacent properties, but when I enquired about this, I didn't receive any newer plans. A total waste of money.”

You’re absolutely right—boundary issues can be a common source of concern. Unfortunately, Land Registry documents typically do not show exact legal ownership of boundaries. The title plans are based on Ordnance Survey maps and are meant to give a general indication of boundaries, but they don’t define them with precision.
In most cases, the Land Registry will not confirm the ownership of a boundary unless there’s a specific legal agreement or a determined boundary application that’s been registered. If boundary ownership is in question, this often needs to be resolved between neighbours, potentially with the help of a legal advisor or a boundary surveyor.
I understand this may be frustrating, especially when boundary clarity is what you were hoping to find.
