Still waiting to settle my lease with this horrific company!! My lease finished, car was collected and confirmed all good by lease plan in writing that vehicle condition was agreed on 23/07/2024. This ended my agreement, yet lease plan took a further payment did in August when the car was in their care. I have an overage in mileage which I accept, however I have raised an issue with lease plan regarding the payment in August taken thereafter my contractual agreement ended and why that hasn’t been deducted from my final costings? I am now bored as emailed and no responses so reverting to complaining to see if someone cares and will sort it out! Lease plan your communication is poor and no one at your offices care or try to sort these issues out, poor!!!!

Awful service, I called them to ask a small question and ended up answering 10000 questions that didn’t make any sense, I think they should train their employees a little better

They are useless, nobody answers the phone. They have no interest in drivers when I did get through got passed around the houses then nothing. No car for the weekend because they would not authorise a tyre in a garage they booked me into

Leaseplan is absolutely pathetic, dont give a rats ass about their clients. Avoid at all cost. Useless call centers. Trying for more than a week to obtain buyout letter, simply imposable. Shocking.

Do not use this company. If you have an issue and the patience to eventually get through to customer services they will fob you off promising to investigate and get back to you. They never get back to you no matter how many times you call.

Over a year with this company I've never been able to contact them on line, "unknown error".

Truly appalling service. Six months after purchasing the car off Leaseplan we still have no logbook despite countless calls and emails. Since the most recent email from Leaseplan finally confirming they would request a V5 change and keep the vehicle taxed until we have the logbook, the vehicle shows on the DVLA website as no longer taxed! And we still don't have the logbook, and we cannot tax it ourselves without the V5!

Avoid this company no matter what! They are tempering with the mileage, hiding service books with original mileage, and auctioning the cars with less mileage in order to sell them faster! I know, they did it to me.

Zeer slecht.

I have had an incredibly frustrating and damaging experience with LeasePlan. I was trying to move three cars from a business I was closing to its sister company. Despite numerous attempts to contact LeasePlan, they never responded to my communications. This lack of response has caused significant problems. The business has since gone into liquidation, and now there's an outstanding balance that I never wanted to happen. LeasePlan's negligence and failure to address my requests have let this situation spiral out of control. It’s alarming how such a reputable company can handle customer service so poorly. Now, I’m left waiting to be treated like a criminal, anticipating the collection of the cars by enforcement agents. Even my broker, National Fleet Services, has tried to reach out to LeasePlan on my behalf, but they too have been met with silence. This entire ordeal has been unnecessarily stressful and damaging. I strongly advise against using LeasePlan. Their unprofessionalism and lack of communication are simply unacceptable. Save yourself the trouble and find a more reliable leasing company. The case number is the one I was supplied with only 10 days ago but I have email evidence of this going back as far as the 02/04/2024

SARA BYRNE - is really bad at her job. LEASEPLAN - absolutely terrible, unprofessional and disorganised company. Ordered a car through companies benefits back in October 2023 and unfortunately leasplan is the provider for this benefit. Honestly the whole process couldn't have been any more painful and awful if I tried. Initially, I chose a car that repeatedly gave me a generic error when attempting to place an order for it. The error message included a phone number to call for any additional questions. However, when I called that number, there was no answer, and no one returned my call. It was only on my third attempt that I managed to reach a person who explained that I was too young to order that particular car. While I understand the age restriction, it would have been more professional to either explain this in the error message or, if that information is too confidential, to at least return my call when everyone was unavailable. After finally successfully placing an order, I was given an estimated delivery date of 02.02.2024. This date was confirmed multiple times until, literally 5 days before the anticipated delivery, on 29.01.2024, I received an email stating that my order would be delayed by 2 months (29.03.2024). This is a significant delay, especially with such short notice. Once again, no explanation was provided, only a number to call for further questions. When I called that number, I experienced the most unprofessional and rude call I have had in a long time. The woman who answered the phone sounded extremely bothered and annoyed, and the only outcome of the call was the statement, "car is not built." I find it hard to believe that they were planning to build the car in time up until 5 days before the anticipated date and then decided to delay it by 2 months. I am fairly certain that I could have been informed about this delay much earlier. I continued waiting, and once again, 7 days before the second anticipated date (22.03.2024), I received an email informing me that the car would be delayed by another month (19.04.2024). Surprisingly, just a few hours later on the same day, I received another email stating that the car was available, and delivery could be arranged from 04.04.2024 onwards. This was the first positive news I had received throughout the entire process, and I genuinely believed that this long and unpleasant experience had finally come to an end. However, I couldn't have been more wrong. Five days later, on 27.03.2024, I received an email informing me that the car had been upgraded to a completely different model (from a Style Ed Pro Performance to a Life Pro) and my quote was now cancelled and needed to be resubmitted. I was assured that this would not affect the already arranged delivery date of 05.04.2024. Firstly, I find it unacceptable that a delivery can be arranged without informing me that I will be receiving a completely different model from the one I initially ordered. I am fairly certain that this kind of information is available when the customer is informed about their vehicle's availability, if not much earlier. Secondly, it seems implausible that the incorrect quote still hasn't been cleared from the system 9 days after it was supposedly requested. As a software developer, I know that things do not take this long to clear from the system, especially in today's technological landscape. Due to this absolutely unbelievable "quote incident," my delivery has been delayed by yet another week. To add to the confusion, I received an insurance certificate to sign that states a start date of 05.04.2024, even though the car will not arrive until next Friday (12.04.2024). After all of these issues, I have absolutely no faith that I will actually receive the car I ordered next Friday (12.04.2024). Fast forward, today is 02.05.2024 and I still haven't received the car that I was supposed to get on 02.02.2024 - 3 MONTHS AGO! So it took 2.5 weeks for the "wrong" order to get cancelled. The same day (12.04.2024) I stayed on the phone with Sara Byrne and submitted the "right" order. It took 3 weeks for that order to get approved and on (02.05.2024) I got an email from Sara asking me why did I submit an order for Life Pro and not Style Pro even though she checked that order at least 4 times. That means that I have to go through the whole cancelling and resubmitting process again and only God know when and even if I will ever receive a car I ordered back in October 2023. Not to mention, that Sara is very bad at writing understandable emails with all the required information for the next actions and every time I replied to an email asking her to give me a call I never got any response. And every time I called and was told that she is either in a meeting or on a call and will give me a call back and every time she would NOT.

LeasePlan are the undisputed, single most terrible company I have ever dealt with. They fleeced me for damage that didn’t exist at the end of my contract. Then they took an extra payment after my contract had ended. They then told me I would get a refund. Which they didn’t pay. Then they sent me a notice demanding a further payment for a car that I no longer leased. A black mark against my credit score when in fact they owe me money. They now tell me that actually they don’t owe me any money there is no record of that, even though I have it in writing. It takes an hour and 50 mins to connect every time you talk to someone. And they promise they will sort it out and never do. I imagine I will end up taking this to the onbudsman as I don’t see it getting resolved. Put me off leasing ever again. Please avoid like the plague. Thank god nothing ever went wrong with the car otherwise I dread to think of the issues I could have had!

My experience with lease plan.... Just had my van now for one year ... In the beginning I never received the V5 so I contacted dvla and sorted my self ... Unknowingly leaseplan don't send out the v5 until you fully purchased the vehicle. So issues start.. In the year I contacted them and they wanted to charge me to have a letter saying I allowed to take abroad as I did not have the v5 Hence I got it my self I was not made aware of an issue until Road tax needs paying no worries I received the reminder and paid early for the year...ok you think Then an email saying from leaseplan your road tax is due no I paid it my self Are you should not done that they say . Reason is They want to charge you fir road tax and charge you for the pleasure Road tax £320 Then they add VAT £60 PLUS pounds Again iv leased before not by these another company had no issues But lease plan seem to charge for everything making it more expensive Iv no idea what's next but I was not told I could not have the v5 as I the responsible person for the road tax ect ect. I was not told of they get the road tax either plus It's a massive con they charge VAT ON ROAD TAX. If I'd know ......I would not have gone with lease plan. Know iv no idea what's next I'm so annoyed

We were incorrectly invoiced by LeasePlan for a leased car which was collected early. After being told that a credit would be arranged, we've spent months and hours chasing. Each time we have been told that it will be resolved and it still has not. I'm now 1 hour and 45 minutes into a call and still on hold while writing this review.

My recent experience with leaseplan is deeply concerning. Their failure to support my business going through a short term financial difficulty is unacceptable, especially when they've misled me about multiple payment plans that I've supposedly had one I've had one and then resorted to aggressive collection tactics despite your ongoing communication and willingness to pay. They threaten me to communicate with them to avoid collection of the cars but mentioned nothing about additional fees, either way I was in constant communication but they still moved forward Charging excessive debt collection fees adds insult to injury. This behavior reflects a lack of empathy and integrity on their part, and it's imperative that they rectify this situation promptly. I'm now raising this with the FOS as this type of aggressive collection tactics may just result in me having to let valuable staff go who would be responsible for ensuring new business continues to flow and avoiding any interruption to making future payments. Bullying vonroble business You should be ashamed of yourself, no wonder certain people/business are scared to open up to companies like yours because you just have no compassion. Also worth mentioning that all the calls and communication that I've had with them either went unanswered or zero notes put on their system relying everything conversation with them. Completely unprofessional.
