“Paid for book... replied to your correspondence requesting confirmation that, despite possible customs duty/local tax, I indeed wanted the item shipped...a few days later received a refund... and subsequently a message you'd spontaneously cancelled the order... Finally, no reply received to the further email I sent you. The overall impression you left was,simply, that Lehmanns just isn't "that serious".”

“Everything went smoothly. Just a couple of minor annoyances. Firstly, your search engine needs some improvement as just some straight searches I made did not produce results and I had to search for the books through more convoluted means. The books were available. Secondly, I ordered a book that appeared in stock. I placed and paid the order but finally was not available. You proceeded automatically to process the refund for this book but I had to check my VISA account for a few days until I checked that all the credits and debits applied to it were correct.”
