“I purchased 4 cook books for click and collect, the process was simple, easy and straightforward with their great web site. I received a email about an hour after checking out that they were ready for collection, this is super quick! The books were beautifully wrapped free of charge with a free gift card. The member of staff was very patient and accommodating at the check out even though it was after closing time and many customers in the queue. This is a really awesome book shop, they literally have every single Jewish book in the world!!! I love it that they have all the new books as soon as they come out. They are truly pioneering in the judaica world. Highly recommended.”

“The delivery was okay, everything fine. But of course since "Brexit" custom fees have to be paid, and it seems, that the parcels are on their way a little bit longer than back then in pre-Brexit days. That's obviously not Lehmanns' fault, rather I have the impression that Lehmanns is dealing with the situation in a professional way and they do their best - but still, can't help, that now I first look, if I can get the Sefer somewhere else (in Europe or directly from Israel), and only when necessary I am ordering from Britain with all that Balagan of "import fees" - and making sure that I payed the fee before receiving the parcel, or having the money ready when the parcel comes (and being at home for that purpose), ect pp. Sorry about that!”

“I tried ordering a rare book first from three other geographically closer vendors. They all said they had it, but one by one they got back to me after delays of many days and informed me the book was not in inventory. Lehmann's, on the other hand, actually had the book, sent me confirmation of this immediately and sent the book overseas in record time. It is heartening to know that outstanding customer service still exists in our world.”

“Their inventory system is poor.Items claimed to be in stock may not be (see other reviews also). Despite this the company draws down funds on order rather than on dispatch and then you have to chase for refund. Zero customer service. They have a monopoly on European distribution so I suppose no reason to keep the customer satisfied.”

Just to set the record straight, we do NOT have monopoly on European distribution, rather we are distributors for some publishers and for some reason you have chosen to connect this with the untrue allegation that the retail operations of the website provide a sloppy service and take money money up front which has to be claimed by the customer. “+ Very fast delivery to Switzerland. - Sometimes books are marked as available and the status is false and books are not in the order. There is no automatic email to tell the client about the missing item.”
