Liftopia has basically the bare bones of anything you need. Many of the resorts listed have no ticket deals at all. They will not refund gifts either. When they say the have lodging, all they do is send you to a third party site. If you have a gift card with liftopia, it doesn’t pay for many options and you end up paying out of pocket. This is the worst site for skiing I have come across. Do not use liftopia.

Do not use this service. They are ripping people off. I bought a lift ticket for my grandson for Christmas. When he went to use they told him it was good. I called and talked to Terry and asked for a refund or moving the lift ticket to a different day. He refused but transferred me over to his manager Efron. I got no where with Efron. HE argued their "terms of service" says no refunds. But I explained it DOES NOT spell out if you don't use the ticket the day of of purchase you DO Not get a refund or move the date of the lift ticket to a different day. When I talked to Efron he continued to try and support their terms of service. He continued to dance around their terms of service saying it was in the terms. I pointed out it was NOT, that it was not specific enough and DO NOT lead people to believe if you Don't use the ticket that day your out of luck. I asked for any refund as they were making 100% profit for and had no cost with this purchase, He just refused to do anything. Not even a $50 refund or moving the day to a different day. They are in the business of ripping people off. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE!!

Terrible customer service. Purchased $300 gift card for kids Christmas present. Liftopia stopped offering deals to mtns in my region, when I spoke to a customer service representative, he indicated it was my fault for not purchasing tickets in time and could not provide information regarding when or if tickets would be available. Don't take a chance saving a couple of bucks, buy from the mountain. I would not recommend liftopia to anyone!

Liftopia will NOT refund my money when the mountain shut down to Covid 19. They instead kept my money and issues a credit which is useless to me. The CEO is another Bernie Madof. White collar thief! Never will I use Liftopia again. BWT, the ski resort issues a check for prepaid rentals, and the condo company also issued a check for full refund.

First and foremost: for everyone who's struggling with Liftopia's customer service, simply dispute the charges with your credit card. I won't reiterate what everyone else is saying regarding their poor customer service because it's not actually their fault. It is actually their P.O.S. CEO Evan Reece's fault. Instead of doing the right thing during a time of crisis, Evan directed all accounts to be frozen and issued credits when money is what people are needing right now during this pandemic. Well unfortunately this horrible decision is backfiring since they are going to lose all credibility and we will NEVER use their services again. The icing on the cake is how horribly Evan Reece and the rest of Liftopia's C-Suite "professionals" are laying off their employees. History will not look down upon your decisions kindly.

Bought tickets for before the pandemic and they only issued a credit -- not a full refund -- despite the fact that our BORDERS were close and the MOUNTAIN was closed. Terrible customer service. Terrible company. Buy direct.

Customer service totally dropped the ball on this one. I was injured day 1 of a 2 day ski trip. I notified Liftopia day 1, and it’s been over a week and still no decision on if I will be receiving a credit back for the day 2 I never used. Poor customer experience when on vacation and requesting to move a selected day around to a new date. order ID 14065293.

My mountain closed the morning of due to bad weather, and they basically said too bad, tried nothing to make it right. I will NEVER use this site again. Ever.

Do not ever buy tickets from this website. The tickets were more expensive then the ski place. Additionally there is no refund policy so they did not even refund or give credit for bad weather. Complete scam site.

Wasn’t able to change my purchased day to the next day even after my plane was late. I’ve used liftopia in the past with no problems but with 0% ability make adjustments to which day you can use the purchased ticket on...is literally like throwing money away. Seriously, you might save a couple dollars but if anything changes in your schedule your out the whole amount. I’m done with Liftopia.com from now. It’s always better to buy from the resort from now on. F liftopia

My review pertains to the Mountain Collective by Liftopia. Not too happy with Mountain Collective. Purchased 8 passes this year, our 8th person had to drop out because of a medical emergency. Delta Airlines and Epic pass heard out the issue and refunded the 8th ticket with ZERO pushback. MC requested a doctor’s note to even consider helping us. Not a problem. I provided the note. After about a week of deliberation on their part, MC has decided to not refund or allow us to change the name on the pass. Not the type of mercy we expected from such an organization who’s Moto is “we’re here to lend a hand, or glove.” Also, we used the 7 passes this week at Squaw. It took about an hour to get registered for our 2 day passes. The counter clerk said that’s how it works at all the parks.

We bought the Mountain Collective Pass with insurance for 2017-18 and as of 2/23/2018 used a grand total of 3 days—2 at Telluride and 1 ar Aspen. Unfortunately, on 2/23 my husband suffered a serious skiing accident which fractured his tibia in multiple places. Obviously our ski season was over. We immediately contacted AIG, the insurance carrier and filed claims for trip interruption. Despite providing all required documentation from the surgeon, receipts proving our purchase and information on the specific number of free days actually used, Liftopia could not be bothered to coordinate with AIG and confirm how many of the free days we were able to use before the accident. Hence, AIG gave us only a tiny fraction of the reimbursement we were due. We will NOT ever buy the Mountain Collective Pass again, nor we will ever do any business with Liftopia! Your customer service is appalling.

Please read the fine print...they do not offer refunds! Even if there are only 3 runs open ( all green) and the tickets were selling almost half price at the actual resort. *Beware* We had 6 people skiing so this was a very costly mistake!

I rarely write reviews but I am so frustrated. Wanted to take my 3 kids to Sunday River. Yesterday the tickets for March 2nd were $49. I called and spoke to a liftopia agent. He assured me that this price would remain for at least a week longer. He said since it did not have anything saying limited number of tickets available I would be fine to wait. I was all set to purchase but once he told me this I decided to wait to see what the weather will be a little closer to March 2nd. I checked this morning and price is $89. I called and was told that what I was told yesterday is not the case and they cannot honor what I was told yesterday. Very poor staff training in that I was given incorrect information. I should have bought yesterday BUT I believed what I was told and Liftopia will not stand behind what an employee told me.

Not worth the $3 dollar savings - Also there is some weird policy about not being able to redeem your purchased ticket a day early... So if your looking to avoid lines in the am, Liftopia doesn't work... Liftopia has confirmed this, yet failed to advise where the ticket says you can only redeem same day - Useless - stay away....

If choice btwn buying from Liftopia and the actual mtn - buy through the actual mtn. Price was the same for both - however on a rain out, the mtn allowed me to purchase a different day and and get a refund on the rain out day. Liftopia would not allow me to switch days - $90 lost b/c I bought from Liftopia instead of directly through the mtn. Why would I ever use Liftopia again?

We had to give all of our info and were told to bring picture id to pick them up, when they were printed they had Costco and pinecone and pinetree as the names on them, they were not full lift passes and the resort refused to accept them, liftopia refused to refund and we are now taking the tickets to our state's attorney generals office for fraud prosecution, let them explain it in court, save your money and do business with a reputable service!

The Kimberley ski hill was the worst ski hill I have ever been too my friend lost her board at the top and they made us walk all the way down it took us 2 hours to get down the hill when we Finally reached some cabins there were 3 workers outside with skidoos they said to go to the other cabin to talk to ski patrol before we got ther a ski patrol a women came out and started getting mad at us cause we lost the snowboard I understand it could’ve hurt someone but it wasn’t our fault everyone around us was trying to catch it but we couldn’t she was one of the rudest people I have ever talked to!!!! She pointed us in a direction so we started to walk and it turned out to be a dead end so I walked all the way back to the first Cabin and got mad because no one was helping us. I don’t know what there protocol is but no one gave us a ride down on the skidoos they use to “save” people with.. I will never go to this ski hill again!
