“Little Fields Farm were offering some (rather more) decorative fruit cages at a very good price. My order arrived, well packaged and quickly and so I am very pleased with their service. Unfortunately I wasn’t so pleased with the items themselves. I have bought items from the same brand previously and they gave been very good, however, several parts of the structures on this latest purchase were very poorly finished, the powder coating practically non-existent so I had to paint them with Hammerite before assembling. This problem occurred in all 4 of the packs I bought so,no doubt, is down to poor standards of manufacture in China. Having said that, all the parts were present and the structures were easy to assemble and I am pleased with them in use. It would have been nigh on impossible to re-package in their original packaging to return them and as mentioned I could have paid considerably more for them elsewhere. I”

Hi Colin, thank you for your review, hope you're well! I have responded to your email this morning and refunded the difference in cost for Next Day delivery that was paid: "I’m sorry to hear that your order was late arriving. Unfortunately Royal Mail Tracked 24 is not a guaranteed Next Day Service and this is out of our control once the courier has the parcel. We despatched this first thing on the 9th of June so we would ordinarily have expected this to arrive on the 10th however Royal Mail do occasionally encounter delays (95% of Tracked 24 orders do arrive the following day). On this occasion I have issued a refund of £3 for the difference in cost between Tracked 48 and Tracked 24 but we will not be able to do this for future orders. If you would like to select a courier for delivery on future orders we have 24 hour (not guaranteed Next Day) options available with Yodel and DHL as well as Royal Mail (please call us to select). Thank you for your patience while we’ve worked to resolve this for you and on behalf of Royal Mail we apologise for any inconvenience caused by the delay.
