Long Home Products installed a shingled roof on my home that is still under warranty. For over 15 months, I have reported multiple active leaks over my Bay Window and repeatedly requested warranty repairs. Despite several inspections by Long representatives, repairs were never scheduled, inspection reports were not provided, and the leaks remained unresolved, allowing water to continue entering my home. Long eventually agreed to perform a repair only if I signed an addendum stating the work would be "not warrantable" and shifting liability away from the company. Requiring a homeowner to sign an addendum in order to receive warranty repairs is not consistent with normal roofing industry practices. Long has also attempted to blame an intersecting flat roof for the leaks, despite failing to disclose any alleged negative slope at the time of installation and despite earlier inspections identifying cracked and wet shingles installed by Long. Independent roofing contractors have confirmed the leaks originate in areas covered by Long-installed shingles. Rather than addressing these defects under the warranty, Long delayed repairs and attempted to limit responsibility through paperwork. This has been a frustrating and stressful experience with ongoing water intrusion and concerns about further damage. I would caution homeowners to carefully review warranty terms and document everything.

I had a tub to stand up shower,I called customer service several times only to to told that someone would contact you within 48hours.I was never contacted also when I called I was told oh that customer service "Must Be Busy ". Wow This will be my last encounter with Long Home.

I had a shower installed in August but there were some measurement errors that required significant adjustments. Additionally, the expectations outlined by the sales team were not fully met. However, I will note that the quality of the installation itself was very good

I had a very disappointing experience with Long Bath. From the start, they were extremely pushy and relied on what felt like cheap sales tactics to pressure me into making decisions. The price ended up being much higher than what was originally discussed, and I definitely feel like they were trying to overcharge for the work. They also went well over the time they said it would take to complete the project, and when it was time to wrap up, they stalled and lingered far longer than necessary. The whole process felt unprofessional and left me frustrated. If you’re considering them, I’d strongly recommend getting multiple quotes and being very cautious. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t use Long Bath again.

I would NEVER recommend this company. After work is done and money paid, they give you nothing but the runaround. They renovated our bathroom and it did look beautiful. However we decided we needed a shower door installed. We called and after paying a fortune for the renovation they wanted an additional over inflated price for just the door. We called numerous times, got either no answer, or just a runaround that we'd be called back - didn't happen. They are great when they want your business, but afterwards- good luck. DO NOT YSE THEM!

Bathroom looked perfect as installers left 2 days later water leaks began from installed plumbing behind shower and ubnder sink. Service response was incredibly slow and 2 weeks later a plumber arrived to fix both. he got the shower leak fixed, but an hour after he left sink was leaking worse than before. Now back in waiting gsme for a return plumber. Service is a run around of waiting for different departments to figure out how to resolve the fix.

LongHome got our OLD (hasn’t been renovated since the 90’s) bathroom looking modern & beautiful in just 8 hours! The install team were extremely professional & kind. They made sure everything was OK before install & kept communication open during the install. I would recommend using them to renovate your home. I plan on using them again

They didn’t. And reading other reviews I’m seeing when work is completed and there’s an issue they won’t give you the time of day. We just had work done and plumber was excellent but we didn’t get the shower rod which is longer than standard and the customer service rep Jerry didn’t add to invoice. For the price we are paying seems small for them to get for us but they are abrupt and quick to hang up on you. Their so called warranty doesn’t look too solid. I would not recommend to anybody and doubtful of their warranty and quality

Update 10/11/2024: 18 year Long costumer. Purchased Roof, 5 Doors, 4 Screen Doors, 13 Window. Issue with Door install project, Long's error and lack of correcting timely. SO Disappointed. Long installed the wrong doors, and have been given me the run around for 2 years now. This is horrible, who ever answers the phone like to say managers are in a meeting or I will call you back tomorrow. Something has changed for the worst at Long. This was been a bad situation that Long is making worst. BEWARE. Until something change back be very cautious and careful. Long makes mistakes and no longer stand behind their mistakes.

I had Jordan come out around April or May. I signed a contract. He said I can get my roof done in July. I have yet to get that roof. Now it is causing more damage to other parts of the house. I own a mobile home in Berwick Maine. I have asked several questions that went unanswered. Got their attention when I told them I was going with another company. I believe they are doing higher paying roofs over mine. Apparently my cost is not sufficient enough to do right away. I personally would not recommend this company for any job. Today is 9/19/24. Still no roof. I was told iit will be done in 2 to 4 weeks. I then told them I hope it will be sooner as it is doingore damage in other areas now. I have consulted an attorney about this matter. Let's see what happens.

Everything was wrong. April 1 was demo and now in May, still dealing with issues. Latest is gap in surround. Floor had to be completely replaced. Toilet was compromised and took three visits from plumbers. I had to initiate inspectors for both signings - absolutely no communication. Very sloppy job - caulking everywhere and walls definitely not "paint ready". No shower for 5 days and 2 of them they were here for over 8 hours. Probably will get nowhere since I'm making payments but intend to take some action. Way too much money to ignore the stress and have had to hire my own man to clean up their mess. I have sent many pictures - my daughter is helping - and no response!

Estimates are higher than anyone. They give all the slick words and try to Rip you off. I would not recommend.

I went with a different company and now Long home representatives will not leave me alone. I have blocked them numerous times and they call me from different numbers. I have verbally and repeatedly made it clear I don't want their services yet they still call several times a day! This is harassment! Steer clear.

It took them four months to complete a four day roof job. The first crew didn’t tarp it properly and our living room literally flooded during a rain storm. Four days later the same exact thing happened in our master bedroom. Ceilings, walls, insulation and hardwood floors all needed to be replaced. This set up a four month indoor construction project that we had to endure. We had out of pocket expenses including but not limited to paint, packing and unpacking our home, and repair of our shorted out security system. $3100 they now refuse to reimburse after agreeing to it. Further more the contract clearly states bronze drip edge, and we have white on cedar trim! Nightmare in NH. Think twice. Get a quote from Home Depot or Lowe’s. They will be less expensive and I guarantee better support and customer service.

Carol Dolch lied to me and my building management about “disclosure laws” causing months of delays. She has been very unprofessional taking weeks to respond if at all. (240) 473-1437 her direct line is mostly never answered unless you call HR to connect to her.

My Husband was working in our garage and a piece of the ceiling fell down in front of him. Unfortunately we were not expecting to have to deal with a new roof but this is part of owning a home. Contacted Long Home and we had Connor Kearn who is a Product Specialist meet with us. Connor was absolutely wonderful. Very thorough and polite. Explained every product they use and answered all our questions. We decided to do our house as well and Connor helped to make this possible. My Husband and I feel that Connor is an asset to your company and want to Thank Him for everything. Again Thank You Connor and Long Home.

Christian Rivas came over tonight to take a look at my bathroom and to give me an estimate for a new bathtub. He took the time to listen, took notes and listed my concerns.He was very patient and thorough in explaining something that seems to be overwhelming for me. Terrible customer service. Was called and scheduled an appointment for consultation on a Thursday. Called on Wednesday by them stating they had an emergency and couldn't make it on Thursday. More than 24 hours before the appointment?? Called today and asked again to reschedule to a different time and on a different day. If I make am appointment I expect you to keep it the first time.
